I’ve been in yachting since 2010, most recently on ARBEMA and SAVANNAH. Before life at sea, I owned a cocktail bar in Val d’Isère and a beach bar in Hossegor, blending a love of hospitality, mountains, and surf. I’m also the proud co-owner of Bones Espresso, a specialty coffee shop in southwest London.
Sport’s a big part of my life! I played rugby for England Schoolboys and Leicester Tigers, and I was Dual Slalom Monoski World Champion in 2014 and 2015 (still chasing a comeback!). I’m into freeride skiing, longboard surfing, and any kind of big mountain or offshore adventure.
Best moments so far? Sailing the Pacific side of Costa Rica and swimming with whales off Italy. My favourite place on earth is either Deia in Mallorca… or at home with my girls - my fiancée Megs and our dog Luna.

Andy joined the yachting industry in 2019 and has since built experience aboard yachts from 28m to 86m, bringing warmth, humour, and a calm confidence to her role as Chief Stewardess aboard M/Y Altair. Nomadic at heart (and still very much in practice), her path to yachting has been anything but ordinary — from leaving behind life as an office manager to work as a cruise ship photographer, to teaching English in China, solo travels through Latin America, and even helping build a successful construction company from the ground up with no prior experience — proof that she is rarely deterred by a challenge. Andy believes places are made memorable by the people met along the way, though Slovenia recently won her heart with its hospitality, natural wines, and wonderfully kind locals. When not onboard, she can usually be found diving beneath the ocean, climbing mountains, or chasing her next adventure.

I was state educated in Scotland; after leaving school I joined the British Royal Navy as a Marine Engineering mechanic. I spent 14 years in service attaining the rank of Chief Petty Officer Artificer in the Submarine Service. I then moved into Yachts in 2001, and in that time, I have worked on 8 yachts. My longest period on one yacht has been 6 years. During the past 24 years, yachting has taken me all over the world and I’m truly thankful for these experiences. I’m a married man and have two children. My interests outside yachting are eating good food and driving fast cars I can’t afford.

Growing up in the coastal suburbs of Perth and being the son of a Harbour Master meant the ocean has always played a huge role in Craig’s life. After working on various fishing boats and ferries through his teens and into young adulthood, he decided to try his hand at professional yachting after being told about the industry by a friend. At the age of 23 he relocated to Antibes and has not looked back since. Craig has taken command on a number of high profile private and charter yachts ranging in size from 45m to 74m. He has cruised extensively throughout the world logging countless sea miles and has loved every minute of it. Craig’s professional approach to yachting is teamed with an approachable demeanour, a keen sense of humour and a lust for life. In his own time, he loves nothing more than spending time with his fiancé, and 3 children (2 daughters and 1 son) and keeping fit by walking, cycling, swimming and trying to play golf. Having a sincere desire to create interesting and inventive itineraries for his guests and a strong emphasis on safety, Craig will ensure your cruise on board ALTAIR will run smoothly, worry free and leave you with memories that will stay with you for a life time.

Marianka is a South African 3rd Stewardess with a Diploma in Business Management and a background in accounting. She traded spreadsheets for superyachts and hasn't looked back since! Before joining Altair, she worked aboard a busy 60m+ private yacht and developed a passion for guest service.
She speaks Afrikaans, English, and a bit of Dutch. When she's not onboard, you'll usually find her scuba diving, in the gym, or chasing the next sunny beach. Her favourite place in the world is Sodwana Bay, South Africa, and her biggest adventure so far was doing a shark dive there - an unforgettable experience that strengthened her love for the ocean. She loves being part of the Altair team, were exceptional service and good humour go hand in hand.
