Since joining our team in 2006, he has been at the helm of Amici per Sempre, guiding guests through the stunning Greek waters with expertise and ease. Armed with a Master’s Diploma and multiple STCW certifications, he combines top-tier seafaring skills with an intimate knowledge of Greece’s hidden gems. Makis is a graduate of the Le Monde Institute of Hotel and Tourism Studies with a culinary degree and a member of the Greek Chefs Association. He commenced a career as a culinary professional in 2001 and, prior to joining yachting in 2015, he had worked as head chef in catering services, hotels, restaurants and the Belgian embassy in Athens. He joined yachting, determined to face new challenges and work in a different environment, offering his services at sea for the delight of his guests on board. His vast knowledge and expertise in Mediterranean cuisine along with the choice of bio seasonal products and raw materials of the finest quality for his dishes will please even the most demanding palates on board.
