Romain is a young, dynamic and super friendly French Caribbean serving as first officer onboard AMIKA. A great back up for Captain Jimmy, following him from MAORO, Romain is an essential part of the AMIKA team. In charge of water sports, prepare to have a load of fun on the water. Romain's contagious smile and happy demeanor make him all the more great to have around. Jimmy, Captain of AMIKA, benefits from a wealth of experience having started his career in the military gaining great organizational and leadership skills. He later transitioned to yachts climbing the ranks all the way to where he wanted to be, Captain. After some years sailing around the world (Alaska, South America & Pacific) he moved back to the Mediterranean Sea and as a keen and curious traveler he gathered perfect knowledge of the area. He is very much looking forward to building AMIKA's cruise path and explore the world with her and charter guests on board. Some of you may remember him from his MAORO days which he run to perfect. Captain Jimmy is a warm character, a wealth of knowledge and always has a hawk eye making sure everyone is safe and happy. Be prepared to have an amazing holiday on board AMIKA with Captain Jimmy and his team.

Thibault has a can-do attitude, always eager to take on extra responsibilities with a smile. Before joining the yachting industry, he worked as a scuba diving instructor in France and Thailand, teaching all levels from Discover Scuba Diving to Master Scuba Diver, including specialties like Wreck and Nitrox Diving. In 2018, he entered the yachting world, gaining extensive experience working on motor yachts in Italian and Dutch shipyards. By 2021, Thibault transitioned from working full time in shipyards to working onboard yachts cruising the Mediterranean, starting as a deckhand/cook and working his way up to Chief Officer. His résumé includes roles on 24m M/Y Strega, 47m M/Y Arados, and most recently, 43m M/Y X. With a strong background in charter operations and navigating the Mediterranean, Thibault brings a wealth of expertise to AMIKA. In his free time, he enjoys freediving, gastronomy, and videography.

Tony is a highly experienced and driven Officer On Watch with over a decade of hands-on experience in the yachting and maritime industries. A third-generation seafarer with Spanish roots, Tony brings a wealth of operational knowledge, leadership, and passion to every vessel he steps on. Holding a Master 500GT license along with Chief Officer 500GT and OOW 1600GT Unlimited endorsements, he has sailed extensively throughout the Mediterranean, from the Balearics to the Greek Islands
Tony is known for his enthusiastic leadership style, team-first mentality, and meticulous attention to safety and vessel presentation. His recent roles on M/Y HYHMA and M/Y MARENGO UNO have seen him manage deck operations, ISM compliance, and refit projects with precision. Fluent in English and Spanish, Tony is approachable, down-to-earth, and thrives in dynamic, high-pressure environments—always ensuring a cohesive, professional, and positive onboard atmosphere.

Matias Corazza is an accomplished Chief Engineer with over 18 years at sea, including six years of dedicated service on superyachts. Holding an Unlimited Chief Engineer Reg. III/2 License, he brings extensive technical knowledge across AV/IT systems, hydraulics, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical troubleshooting, and water toy maintenance. Matias has served aboard vessels such as the 68m Feadship M/Y Lady Christine, 47m explorer M/Y Ocean Dreamwalker III, and most recently M/Y Fabulous Character (42m), where he was praised for his proactive, hands-on leadership and preventative maintenance strategies
Fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian, Matias is also an experienced diver with heliops safety training. Known for his calm, solutions-oriented mindset and dedication to teamwork, he thrives in demanding charter environments. With a strong preference for onboard problem-solving and a deep respect for safety and efficiency, Matias is a reliable and personable asset to any professional yacht crew.

Kristof Deflo is an accomplished private chef with a flair for delivering refined, globally inspired cuisine tailored to the highest standards of charter guests and owners. With experience aboard busy charter yachts such as M/Y Seven Sins (52m), M/Y Villa (42m Arctic expeditions), and M/Y Y42 (35m Med charters), Kristof has proven his versatility and ability to meet diverse dietary needs with creativity and precision. His culinary range spans French, Mediterranean, Asian, vegan, gluten-free, and fine pastry, always presented with finesse.
Before entering the yachting world, Kristof owned and operated the Michelin-guided Bistro Oliva in Belgium, where he built a strong reputation for Italian-inspired cuisine. Trained in Belgium with a six-year diploma in professional cookery, Kristof combines deep culinary expertise with a calm, organized approach. Multilingual, personable, and adaptable, he thrives under pressure and takes pride in curating memorable dining experiences at sea.

Nicolas Combe is a classically trained French chef with over a decade of high-end culinary experience, nine of which have been spent at sea delivering exceptional cuisine aboard prestigious private and charter yachts. Currently based in Antibes, Nicolas brings a calm, disciplined presence to the galley, underpinned by his strong work ethic and genuine passion for gastronomy. He has served as Head Chef aboard vessels such as the 77m M/V YERSIN and the 50m M/Y Da Vinci, where he mastered the art of catering to large guest parties, VIPs, and spontaneous high-volume events with skill and creativity.
Educated at the renowned École Ferrandi in Paris, Nicolas also holds a Ship’s Cook Certificate, STCW, and ENG1. His repertoire includes Mediterranean buffets, fine plated cuisine, and organic baking, reflecting a dedication to both flavor and wellness. Personable, professional, and adaptable, Nicolas is a valued crew member who consistently elevates the guest experience.

Isidoros is a dedicated and driven Chief Engineer. He began his career as an apprentice engineer in 2013 on 2 Bulk Carriers. He then advanced to the role of 3rd Engineer onboard a cruise ship and a crude oil tanker, subsequently working on a number of Motor vessels as a 2nd Engineer. In 2022, he transitioned to the superyacht industry, working on the likes of 122m M/Y Alexander and 117m M/Y Turama. Isidoros is a responsible team leader who thrives in collaborative environments and enjoys tackling new challenges. He sets ambitious goals and consistently achieves them alongside his team. Outside of work, Isidoros enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 daughters and is also committed to continuous professional and personal growth in all aspects of his life.

Camille Adjutor is an experienced and enthusiastic Chief Stewardess with a strong background aboard private motor yachts ranging from 24 to 90 metres. Over multiple busy seasons—including four years as Chief Stew aboard the 30m M/Y Inspiration B—Camille has demonstrated a natural talent for delivering polished service, elegant table settings, and maintaining immaculate interiors, all while nurturing positive onboard team dynamics.
Her versatile background includes Atlantic crossings, charter and owner use, and high-standard service aboard yachts like M/Y DAR (90m) and M/Y AUMICHAKIAD (38m). Camille leads by example, confidently training junior crew, managing provisioning, and even supporting deck operations with tender driving and line handling. Her hands-on work ethic is matched by her calm and upbeat personality, making her a valued member of any crew. Certified in STCW, ENG1, Food Hygiene, Medical First Aid, and PDSD, Camille is ready to elevate every guest experience onboard.

Laïla Retali is a vibrant and versatile stewardess with strong hands-on experience aboard private and charter yachts up to 30 meters, including two successful seasons on M/Y Ariyas along the French Riviera. With a warm, proactive approach and a keen eye for detail, Laïla excels in guest-facing roles—from cabin care and cocktail service to deck maintenance and docking assistance. Her professionalism and adaptability make her an invaluable support across departments
Fluent in French and English, and confident in multicultural settings, Laïla has also worked as a high-end nanny for private families, showing her discretion and attentiveness to guest comfort. She holds CFBS/STCW, Seafarer Medical, a boat license, and is fully travel-ready. With a background in hospitality and tourism, and a naturally positive attitude, Laïla is committed to maintaining high standards while creating a welcoming onboard atmosphere.
