His meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving abilities make him a key asset on board.

Before joining M/Y ANCALLIA, he served as Chief Engineer on various private and charter yachts, including M/Y SOURAYA and M/Y O’RION, overseeing all engineering operations and ensuring optimal performance. His career also includes extensive experience in tanker and cargo vessels, further enhancing his ability to manage complex engine systems. Certified to the highest maritime safety and engineering standards, he holds an MSc in Marine Engineering Management from the University of Greenwich and a Chief Engineer Class 1 (Unlimited) certificate.

Before entering the yachting industry, he gained valuable experience as an Apprentice Officer on M/T Runner (158kdwt) and M/T Symphonic (298kdwt), further strengthening his navigation, safety, and seamanship skills.

Holding a Hellenic Certificate of Able Seaman, Advanced Safety Training, and a Speedboat License, Nikolaos is well-prepared for the demands of the yachting industry. His Proficiency Certificate in English (C2) from the University of Michigan ensures smooth communication with guests and crew. Prior to joining the yachting industry, she worked in luxury hospitality in Santorini, giving her a strong foundation in high-standard service and client care.

His ability to lead teams and deliver exceptional cuisine under pressure has earned him a strong reputation in the industry. Known for his creativity, discipline, and ability to personalize menus, Vasilis ensures that every dish is a culinary experience tailored to guest preferences.
