Kaz is one of Aqua Blu’s most experienced Divemasters and Excursion Guides with over 2 decades of experience. His journey began with Amanwana Beach Team, where he honed his skills as a snorkeling guide and watersports instructor before transitioning to dive management roles. With a strong educational foundation from the Tourism Academy at Hotel and Tourism Training Center Denpasar Bali, Kazzuaeni excelled as a Dive Experience Manager at Wakatobi Dive Resort for 9 years. At Aqua Expeditions, Kazzuaeni brings his passion for marine conservation and extensive diving experience to curate unforgettable adventures for travelers. He’s an expert at spotting and identifying marine life and is familiar with their unique behaviors such as the diminutive pygmy seahorses which measure less than 2cm. Kaz’s favorite dive spots are Komodo Island, Alor, Banda Neira, Raja Ampat and Lembeh. His diverse skill set such as airstrip management, dive boat coordination, guest relations, proficiency in underwater photography and expertise in marine life presentation enhance the expedition experience.

Imam has 15 years of experience as a dive guide and instructor. He received a scholarship from PADI in 2011, allowing him to pursue his passion for underwater exploration and become a certified Master Scuba Dive Trainer. He has spent over a decade discovering the secrets of East Indonesia exploring the waters surrounding destinations such as Bali, the Gili Islands, the Komodo Islands, and Raja Ampat. Imam is adept at underwater videography, and one of his favorite dive spots to document and guide guests is the southern part of Komodo which is home to a plethora of corals and marine life.

Rahmat Sabikin's diverse professional background and multifaceted skill spans from engineering and accounting to hospitality. Beginning his career in chemical engineering, Rahmat subsequently ventured into diverse roles such as a waiter,
bartender, and cook helper, honing his culinary skills and customer service acumen. His tenure as a dining leader aboard the Aqua Blu in Aqua Expeditions signifies his evolution into a leadership position, where he oversees and enhances the dining experience for guests with his comprehensive understanding of hospitality and culinary arts. From completing job training in architecture to acquiring certificates in English language proficiency and karate-do, he demonstrates a proactive approach to self-improvement.

Andre is one of Aqua Blu’s most versatile dive instructors and excursion guides, with a diverse background in underwater exploration. With almost a decade of professional experience, he continues to find immense joy guiding dives and excursions, courtesy of his extroverted nature and passion for tourism. Having previously operated his own diving center, Andre excels in drift and shipwreck dives. He is well-versed in both the region’s marine life as well as the history behind the shipwrecks.

Having dived since the age of 17, Refly is a highly experienced and adept PADI Divemaster and Excursion Guide on Aqua Blu. Hailing from Indonesia, he has been working as a guide since 2016, expanding his skillset along the way. Refly studied Underwater Ecotourism in the Politeknik Negeri Manado/Indonesian tourism Department. Some of his favorite diving sites are in East Kalimantan such as Fish County. A tricky site with strong currents, it's a worthwhile dive thanks to the plethora of big fish to be seen including Barracuda Sharks and a variety of rays.

Septian Swastika Putra embodies a commitment to excellence in his role as the 1st Officer aboard the Aqua Blu with Aqua Expeditions. With a background in deck officer duties and extensive training in safety and operational procedures,
Septian’s journey in the maritime industry began as a Deck Cadet onboard various vessels, gradually ascending to higher ranks, including 2nd Officer and now 1st Officer. His proficiency in navigating tanker ships and cruise vessels underscores his ability to handle diverse maritime operations with precision and professionalism. Throughout his career, Septian has demonstrated a dedication to continuous learning and development, evidenced by his extensive list of
certifications and qualifications in accordance with STCW 2010 standards. From Basic Safety Training to Advanced Fire Fighting and Ship Security Officer training, he ensures his skills are up-to-date and compliant with industry regulations.

Glenn is British and bases himself out of the beautiful shores of Bali. He has been involved in marine management since 2010 when he was Director and Cruise Manager of two luxury charter vessels M/Y Amandira (32m) and S/Y Amandira (52m). He then went on to work as General Manager for Discover Indonesia in Bali managing inbound luxury travel until June 2019. Glenn is also a certified PADI Open Water Scuba instructor.

A versatile professional with a Bsc. Hons. in Information Systems & Management, Dean has expertise spanning several sectors including finance, media, and tourism. During a career break dedicated to family, travel, and freelancing in SEO/SMO/photography, he picked up key skills including live-streaming and virtual reality, even working with notable clients like Allerton Grange Services (UK) and ScubaCat Diving (Thailand). Afterwards, Dean took on the role of a Tour Manager for PT DCP Vela Nusanatara in Indonesia, a Tour Advisor, Marketing & Event Manager for Silolona Sojourns, and a Charter Broker for Asia Pacific Superyachts. In 2024, he joined Aqua Blu as a Cruise Director, bringing with him a diverse skillset, experience, and a relentless pursuit of excellent.

Bonifasius Sebayang M.Mar holds a Master Mariner Nautical Class I-Unlimited from the Maritime Higher Education Institute in Indonesia. This is complemented by his Masters in Management from UT-Indonesia, Bachelor of Nautical from Merchant Marine Academic Indonesia, and certifications in ISO 21001:2018 Lead Auditor. His illustrious maritime career includes serving as the current Captain of Aqua Blu since 2022, Master of MY Blue in Thailand, and Superintendent of MV Four Seasons Explorer in the Maldives. Beyond nautical expertise, Sebayang has excelled in maritime education, lecturing at esteemed institutions and leading the Education & Training Division at Benoa Maritime Indonesia Maritime Training Center, underscoring his commitment to safety and excellence.
