About AQUARIUS
AQUARIUS is a 45.77m tri deck yacht by Mengi Yay, refitted in 2025, with a clean, contemporary look and a layout that makes excellent use of her volume. She feels especially open and connected to the surroundings thanks to large windows, plus fold out balcony terraces that bring fresh air and views straight into the main deck spaces. She has a genuinely open inside outside feel, with wide sea views, giving guests the choice to drift between sun and shade throughout the day.
Inside, the main saloon is designed for relaxed socialising, with spacious lounges, an EPT poker tournament table, and fold out terraces that create an airy flow between indoor comfort and sea breezes. On the upper deck aft, she also has a gym and spa area, which is understood to include wellness features such as a steam room and shower, ideal for a reset after a day on the water. Accommodation is for 10 guests in five cabins, including a main deck master suite with a separate office and two private balconies, giving the principal guest a little extra privacy on charter.

Captain Ali joined AQUARIUS before her launch, while she was still under construction, giving him a rare depth of knowledge of the yacht and her operation. Calm, highly organised, and quietly confident, he is known for his positive outlook, strong leadership, and unwavering commitment to safety, efficiency, and impeccable standards on board. He takes great pride in maintaining AQUARIUS to the highest level and ensuring every charter runs smoothly for both guests and crew. With a professional yet approachable manner, Captain Ali is passionate about delivering a memorable experience for every guest on board. He especially enjoys meeting people from different backgrounds and discovering new cultures through chartering. In his spare time, he enjoys relaxation and meditation, which reflect the composed and thoughtful energy he brings to life on board.

Emre joined the industry in 2010 where he gained ample experience working on board sail yachts ranging in sizes from 18m to 27m, cruising the Aegean coast and Greek Islands. Over the years, his expertise in deck operations, safety management, and customer service has grown significantly. Having started as a deckhand on AQUARIUS, Emre's dedication and professional growth have led him to the position of First Mate. He plays a vital role in maintaining safety and ensuring seamless operations on board. In his leisure time, Emre enjoys swimming, fishing, and RC model airplanes.

What makes Vira especially valuable on board is her dual skill set as both a stewardess and trained spa professional. With experience in massage, facials, body treatments, manicure services, and personalised guest care, she adds an extra layer of comfort and wellbeing to the guest experience. Before entering the yachting world, she managed her own beauty salon in Kyiv, building long-term relationships with clients through discretion, professionalism, and warmth. Now Vira brings a polished blend of luxury hospitality and wellness expertise to the interior team. Outside of work, she enjoys being active, whether hiking, alpinism, camping, CrossFit, or rock climbing and creates balance through her yoga.

Born and raised in Turkey, Burcu holds qualifications in Food Technology and Tourism and Hospitality Management. Before joining the yachting industry, she built her hospitality experience through a variety of guest-facing roles in hotels, restaurants, bars, and customer service, as well as several years working as an Executive Assistant.
Since starting her yachting career in 2019, Burcu has developed strong skills in service, housekeeping, cocktail preparation, provisioning, and table presentation. Friendly, adaptable, and highly organised, she enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in ensuring guests feel comfortable and well looked after throughout their time on board. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring new cultures and destinations, meeting new people and making the most of her travel opportunities.

Chef Mustafa brings a fresh, energetic approach to the galley, paired with strong culinary training and a genuine passion for flavour. Originally from Istanbul, he studied tourism and hotel management before building his career across restaurants, hotels, and yachts. His background includes time in boutique dining establishments in Türkiye, work at sea with İmamoğlu Denizcilik, and valuable international experience in South Africa, all of which have shaped his adaptable and globally inspired cooking style.
He is passionate about developing his already impressive repertoire and has studied Asian cuisine, Argentine steak culture, and French patisserie. More latterly he refined his skills through workshops in Thailand and Singapore focused on their methodology. Guests will find him versatile, thoughtful, and showing a clear love for his craft.
