Having worked on land for the previous two years in sail making, fitting, and other logistics, Victor decided to return to the yachts, joining Aragon in 2022. His previous experience includes roles as deckhand on several boats, as well as working as a diving instructor and technician on deck. Victor is extremely passionate about exploring new cultures and is looking forward to the seasons ahead.
Victor is a polite and friendly member of the team covering the First Mate position on Aragon. His job is to make sure all systems and equipment are in pristine condition and operating smoothly. He also ensures the deck is immaculate so guests can enjoy a wonderful experience onboard.
Victor has excellent communication skills, takes organization very seriously and is always ready to help. His kind, discreet, attentive nature makes him the perfect complement to assist Captain Tom and ensure all guests have a safe and memorable time onboard.
VICTOR FERRER
First Mate
Born to a Danish mother and a British father on the island of Mallorca, he started sailing at a very young age, first on dinghies and later moving onto superyachts
Tom has been working on many prestigious yachts +30mt range over the past eleven years. Starting as deck hand, then as first mate/engineer, he quickly climbed the ranks becoming captain on a 68' sailing yacht in 2021. Now he is at the helm of Aragon since 2022, showing extensive nautical abilities, an aptitude for problem solving and safety. A great enthusiasm constantly drives him to further develop his leadership skills.
As Captain, Tom is responsible for navigation, safety and the overall management of the vessel and crew. He leads a team of enthusiastic sailors, all dedicated to providing a high level of service and satisfaction.
When not sailing, Tom is a passionate road cyclist, kite surfer and outdoor lover
With his positive, gentle and proactive approach, he will be your host while onboard and will make your cruise an unforgettable experience.
