Sienna joins ASANI summer 2025
Interests: Surfing, trying new cuisines (cooking and eating!)
Growing up on the shores of Bondi Beach, Sienna joins the ASANI team from New South Wales, Australia. From a family where surfing, travelling and being in nature are a way of life, it is no surprise that Sienna fell in love with the dynamic yachting industry.
Over the past two years, Sienna has split her time, spending her winters in St Anton, Austria working in luxury chalets and skiing, and her summers in Greece mastering different watersports. With a calm, friendly presence and a sharp eye for details, Sienna takes pride in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests on board ASANI.

Before entering the world of yachting, Christian had an award-winning career in Graphic Design. In 2006, seeking a dramatic change, he took the leap onto yachts. Starting out as deckhand, he worked his way up the ranks on notable yachts including M/Y TATOOSH, M/Y ALFA NERO, M/Y BATON ROUGE and M/Y AQUARIUS. His extensive cruising experience across his 18 year career spans the Mediterranean and Caribbean, as well as parts of the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
In his spare time, you can usually find Christian with a camera in hand or trying to convince himself to hit the gym.

Growing up just a stone’s throw from the sea in her family’s hotel in Cornwall, UK, Tilly is well-acquainted with the hospitality industry. After graduating from university with a degree in Politics and International Relations, Tilly ventured into the yachting industry with the aim to deliver the highest quality service for clients. Her drive to progress in the industry is evident when working within the interior team. Tilly is also continuing to perfect her skills in cocktail making and expanding her knowledge of fine wines.
With a strong team-oriented and competitive spirit, Tilly’s enthusiasm for sports and fitness shines through. Tilly has a passion for exercise, she is currently studying for her personal training qualification to enable her to help others to incorporate exercise into their lives. Tilly also loves spending time in nature and the outdoors.
Tilly looks forward to welcoming clients on board ASANI with open arms and contributing to creating a memorable charter experience for all.

Freya has experience on yachts ranging from 32 to 110m.
Interests: Yoga, travelling, keeping fit
Freya joins the ASANI team with over a year of experience in the yachting industry. With a background rooted in high-end hospitality and client facing roles, it is no surprise that she felt naturally attracted to the yachting world.
No longer wanting to work behind a desk, Freya has transitioned from working in fashion and finance and has sought a new career that allows her to discover new cultures, countries and work with a diverse range of people. Freya looks forward to ensuring guests feel completely relaxed, cared for, and free to enjoy everything the ASANI experience has to offer during their time on board.

Originally from the UK, Natalie’s journey into yachting began in Australia when she witnessed M/Y OCTOPUS coming into port, she was instantly attracted to the industry and set sail on her new adventure.
After five and a half successful years at sea, Natalie transitioned to land-based roles, managing private estates for UHNW families. During this period, Natalie was responsible for organising complex itineraries, reconnaissance trips and exclusive experiences such as securing reservations at Michelin starred restaurants and managing last minute logistics.
Allow Natalie’s kind, welcoming nature to greet you aboard ASANI, where every detail is considered and every guest is treated like family.

Kyle joined the ASANI team during the build period and consistently strives for excellence on board. With a decade of experience in the yachting industry, he is a valuable resource and provides a wealth of knowledge on board. Kyle has worked his way from Deckhand to Chief Officer on vessels ranging from 30m to 110m and holds the goal of becoming a Captain firmly in his sights. Always approachable and known for his friendly smile, Kyle has become a key member of the ASANI family.
In addition to his yachting skills, Kyle is a qualified chef and sommelier. His passion for culinary exploration shines through when he travels and discovers new cuisines. Kyle has also represented his adopted nation, Namibia, at international level in both waterskiing and swimming.

Interests: Watching sports, keeping fit, hiking in the Lake District
Charlie joined the yachting industry in June 2021 and with three yachts to his name, joined ASANI during her build period. He was lucky enough to grow up in the picturesque Lake District in the UK and this is where his love for nature and the outdoors started. Charlie has embraced every opportunity since joining the industry, he has gained his Yachtmaster Offshore and aspires to become a Captain in the future.
His positive and can-do attitude overseeing the operations on deck radiates throughout the ASANI crew, making him a vital member on board. Charlie enjoys exploring new countries and cultures and thanks to his yachting roles, he has been able to tick many new countries off the list. He also enjoys all things sports in his spare time, watching and playing!

Yasen began his career as a technical director for the largest hotel on the Balkan Peninsula, in Bulgaria, his home country and where he graduated from the Naval Academy in 1996. He spent a decade building up his experience on cargo and passenger ships and then transferred to the yachting industry. Now joining ASANI, Yasen brings a deep knowledge and understanding of yachting technical operations.
His love for water extends beyond his professional life; he is a former water polo player and enjoys all watersports, with wakeboarding being his only remaining challenge to conquer. Yasen is also a passionate car enthusiast and loves mountain biking. Under Yasen’s direction on board, clients can rest assured operations will be running like clockwork.

Joining ASANI as our dual role deckhand and second engineer, AJ is a cool, calm and collected individual. Growing up in South Africa, AJ originally studied to be a mechanic. However, after working at BMW for over a year, his adventure into yachting began at 20 years old.
Since joining the industry, AJ’s passion for engineering continues to develop and he hopes to have his EOOW ticket by the end of the year. He is dedicated to creating a fun and memorable experience for all guests on board.

Siani, pronounced Shar-ni, joins ASANI after five years in the yachting industry. Although Siani was born and raised on the Gold Coast in Australia, she is very proud of her English heritage. She has always had a strong connection with the ocean and always feels at home by the water. Her brother is also a chief officer in the industry so it’s no surprise she was naturally attracted to yachting.
