Originally from Estonia, Aivo brings a dynamic blend of engineering expertise and deck operations experience to his role aboard M/Y Nineteen 42. With over six years on board a private Leopard 27 cruising the Mediterranean — including St. Tropez, Antibes, Corsica, and Sardinia — he has built a strong foundation in both guest-facing duties and technical yacht maintenance.

Aivo’s core strengths lie in preventative and corrective engineering, including generator diagnostics, engine servicing, and full oversight of bilge and engine room operations. He has also supervised major yard periods and refit projects, demonstrating strong attention to detail and quality control.

In addition to his mechanical acumen, Aivo supports daily deck operations such as washdowns, tender handling, and water toy assistance. His background as a certified personal trainer and military team leader adds discipline, reliability, and a quietly confident presence to the crew.

Aivo holds a full set of maritime certifications, including STCW, SSO, and Able Seafarer in Engine (STCW 2010), along with a 24m boat licence. He is fluent in English and Estonian, and has a working understanding of Russian. A true team player, Aivo ensures everything below deck runs smoothly while also supporting seamless guest service on the exterior.

Chef Nevena is an experienced yacht chef with over ten years of culinary expertise across luxury yachts, private villas and alpine chalets. Having worked as Sole Chef on both private and charter yachts throughout the Mediterranean, she creates refined Mediterranean and international cuisine with a strong emphasis on fresh, seasonal ingredients. Passionate about wellness and nutrition, she is also a certified Holistic Health Coach, allowing her to effortlessly cater to gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan and other bespoke dietary requirements without compromising on flavour or presentation. Her background as a professional pastry chef brings an extra level of creativity to desserts and baked goods, while her calm, organised approach ensures every meal is delivered to the highest standard. Fluent in English, French and Italian, Nevena enjoys creating memorable dining experiences tailored to each guest’s preferences.

Janneke is a dedicated and enthusiastic stewardess beginning her yachting career after several years working in high-end hospitality environments. Most recently, she worked at the renowned 5-star Limewood Hotel in the UK, where she delivered exceptional service to VIP guests, celebrities, and families while maintaining the highest hospitality standards.

With experience in fine dining service, event preparation, cocktail making, and guest relations, Janneke brings strong attention to detail and a proactive, team-oriented mindset onboard. She is confident working in fast-paced environments, supporting both formal and relaxed guest experiences with professionalism and positivity.
