Dan is a hands-on Deckhand and Carpenter onboard M/Y AXIOMA, who’s always happy to roll up his sleeves and get stuck in. With just over a year in yachting and more than 10 years in carpentry, he brings a great mix of practical skills and a strong work ethic to the team.
His love for the water started early, growing up around his dad’s boat in Portland Harbour. Since those early days, he’s gone on to work on yachts including M/Y LAUREN L (90m) and M/Y SERENE (134m), gaining experience during shipyard periods and busy guest trips alike. He’s especially strong when it comes to woodwork — from teak repairs to detailed finishing — but is just as comfortable out on deck with tenders and toys.
Away from work, Dan is big into football, padel, and golf, and has a real passion for motorsports like motocross and karting. He also enjoys hiking, travelling, and has recently taken up scuba diving, with plans to work towards his Divemaster certification.
