Since beginning his yachting career in 2011, Mat has worked across a range of vessels and destinations, earning a reputation for calm leadership, strong organization, and an unwavering commitment to safety and professionalism. Whether overseeing deck operations, coordinating guest logistics, or running drills, he ensures everything runs efficiently and with care. Introduced to the industry through a family friend, Matthew joined his first yacht in December 2023, shortly after finishing high school. Since then, he’s fully embraced life at sea, drawn to the fast pace, global travel, and the camaraderie that comes with working as part of a tight-knit crew. Before stepping into yachting, Matthew was deeply involved in sports, especially rugby. The teamwork and discipline he developed on the field now fuel his dedication on deck, where he approaches each task with enthusiasm, reliability, and a hands-on mindset. From setting up beach experiences to assisting with watersports and guest activities, Matthew is always ready to jump in and make your time onboard smooth, safe, and full of fun. This naturally led him to a career in yachting, and for the past twelve years, he has been working on several prestigious charter yachts, sailing the Mediterranean and Caribbean seas. Safety and providing a five-star experience for Baba’s guests are of utmost importance to him, and he is passionate about planning exciting itineraries and activities for all guests’ enjoyment. You can expect a seamless experience while on board, and rest assured that the captain has all your wishes taken care of. In his downtime, Paul enjoys diving, fishing, hiking, exploring local cuisines, and meeting people from different cultures.

From studying music and psychology, teaching English online to doing her wedding planning course in Bali, she is always on the move, up for a challenge, and learning something new. Courtney is passionate about animals and will use any excuse to go for a dive. She also has deep empathy and love for people and relishes in making a guest giggle. She has plans to see as much of the world as she can and experience as many adventures and cultures as her passport will allow. Yachting has always appealed to Courtney for the travel, but once she joined, she discovered her passion for creativity, tablescapes, and floristry; the bigger and brighter the table, the better! She loves spending time with her crew and creating unique events for everyone to enjoy.

His career has taken him across the US, Europe, the vast Indian Ocean, and the Pacific, enhancing his versatility and expertise. In his free time, Joseph enjoys playing basketball, mountain biking, cycling, and watching documentaries and sports. My youth was spent exploring the nearby shores and marveling at the natural splendor that enveloped me. My deep fascination with the sea propelled me to pursue a degree in naval mechanical engineering at the Nautical School of Mazatlan. Throughout my studies, I immersed myself in the realm of marine machinery, honing my technical expertise and acquiring specialized knowledge in mechanical systems for boats. Graduating with distinction, I embarked on a professional journey in the yacht industry, where I now apply my skills as a naval mechanical engineer. I am deeply engaged in projects that ignite my passion and contribute to the advancement and upkeep of a diverse array of vessels.
