Born in London, Nick spent his early years sailing with his family off the south coast of England. After yearssailing Maxi and America’s cup yachts, he acquired his 3000 ton Master license and transitioned to largemotor yachts. Now with 27 years command experience, Nick has more miles under his belt than most entireCrew’s. As a true globetrotter, Nick has spent significant time in Asia, the South Pacific and Indian Ocean.Though he’s equally at home enjoying the best the Mediterranean has to offer “I love Bonifacio… one of theworks most beautiful natural ports, and a great starting point to explore Corsica and Sardinia.” His career hasseen him Captain some of the industry’s most prolific vessels, such as the 43m SKYLER, the 40m MIRAGGIO,the 40m ALCHEMY, and the 52m VANTAGE. When not at sea, Nick’s great passion is for his daughters andtheir horses. A resident of Nova Scotia, it’s there where Nick looks after the family stable.

Nicholas Coombes

Franck was brought up in Cap Ferrat, near Monaco, on the French Riviera. He started sailing when he was just 8 years old and hasn’t stopped boating since. He has cruised most of the Oceans in the world and has worked on both private and charter yachts. He loves sailing and all water sports activities both above and below the surface from wakeboarding to windsurf/kite surf and scuba diving.
Highlights of his career are cruising the Seychelles and the Arctic circle - he enjoys exploring remote places where not many yachts venture. Some of his favorite life experiences include swimming with orca’s in Norway and wind-surfing in Hawaii.
A true adventurer at heart, Franck is always eager to cruise in new places while offering his guests the best experience on board in the safest way possible.

Frank Catsuris

M/Y BACA is Sam’s first foray into yachting and having joined the boat in 2018, Sam has enjoyed bringing his many years of commercial engineering skills and knowledge to the program. His favourite experiences from his time onboard include a summer spent cruising Alaska and the opportunity to play golf courses around the world.
Sam loves all sport (particularly golf, cricket and soccer) - in his free time he enjoys watching sport, playing golf, scuba diving, hiking and general exploring. He is also a very useful person to have on your team when doing a Pub Quiz!

Samuel Nicholls
Chief engineer
Ethan was born and raised in Brisbane, Australia. Before joining the yachting industry, he worked in retail and hospitality while studying Environmental Science at the University of Queensland.
After graduating, Ethan spent several years working at an island resort in Australia as part of their marine operations team - giving him hands-on experience in both the operational and technical sides of a wide range of vessel types. Meanwhile, he was also playing at state level for Australian Football (AFL) and loved getting out on adventures, every chance he got!
This is Ethan’s first super yacht but he loves the dynamic nature of the work within the industry - being part of a close-knit crew, adapting to new locations and constantly learning. In his spare time Ethan enjoys fishing, personal fitness, Australian Football (AFL), hiking, camping, videography. He owns two beautiful golden retrievers named Dougal and Murphy back in Australia, and his secret skills include the uncanny ability to untangle almost any cord or rope… eventually. He also boasts a 33% win rate in rock, paper, scissors.

Ethan Edwards

Jessica grew up on the small island of Waiheke off the coast of Auckland in New Zealand. She loved growing up on an island, walking to school along the beach and always being just a little patch of grass away from the sea.
Jessica obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Event Management at the Auckland University of Technology and prior to joining yachting, she taught dance (Ballet, Jazz, Total Barre) to people of all ages. She has also enjoyed working various events from festivals and concerts to weddings and expo’s. Having previously worked on 41m MY ALMAHA, her favorite thing about of working in yachting is the look on guests’ faces when they experience something amazing for the first time! Her favourite experience so far has been seeing a rising blood moon on the ocean.
Her hobbies include dance, baking, arts & crafts, reading, travelling and exploring. Jessica lives by the idea that anything and everything is worth celebrating - trust her to organise a surprise party or have a celebratory glass of bubbles on hand. A little party never hurt anyone!

Jessica Arden

Luke was born in Brisbane, Australia. Luke studied a Bachelor of
Industrial Design and prior to joining yachting he worked as a
restaurant/nightclub manager in different cities around the world. With a
Master of Yachts Offshore qualification, Luke has worked on various boats - 50m Michaela Rose, 50m Aurora and 45m Calliope. He enjoys exploring amazing parts of the world and sharing these experiences with guests and crew - to date his favourite experiences onboard a yacht include sailing in North Western Australia and Alaska. Luke has been travelling for 20 years and made lifelong friends around the world. His hobbies include wakeboarding, snowboarding and longboarding.

Luke Bazzo
First Officer
Phil grew up in the Lake District, United Kingdom. Before transitioning into yachting after he finished his culinary training, Phil worked as a private chef for ski chalets in France and Switzerland, Mallorcan villas and for clients around the UK. Phil has worked on Nita K 2 (55m), Constance (57m) and Oscar (34m) prior to joining BACA. His favourite aspects of charters include encountering different challenges every day and the whole crew working together. He loves Modern British, Tapas and Indian cuisine and his hobbies include snow skiing, street food and watching sports. Best life experiences include heli-skiing in Italy and travelling around Thailand. His best experiences on yachts are sailing the
entire length of Croatia and catching (and preparing) tuna with the crew while on an Atlantic crossing.

Phil Packham

Amelia grew up in the small fishing town of Brixham in Devon, England. After studying a diploma in Art, she moved to New Zealand and worked as a bar & restaurant manager in Auckland. While living on her own sailing yachts for 4 years, Amelia had the freedom to explore the North and South islands of New Zealand. Having previously worked on SY Pumula (37m) and SY Guillemot (43m), she is now looking forward to encountering new challenges working on her first motor yacht as well as meeting new people, travelling to exciting places and creating an environment specially tailored to the guests onboard.
Amelia’s hobbies include photography, cooking, freediving, hiking and sailing. Two of her favourite experiences so far are diving with hundreds of sharks in Fakavara, French Polynesia and exploring the Seychelle islands with the giant tortoises and whale sharks.

Amelia Guy

Born in Vail, Colorado USA, Max went to college for 4 years in Salt Lake
City, UT where he studied business management and played DII lacrosse,
where he was a second team All American. Before yachting, Max worked in excavation as a CAT machine operator in the Rocky Mountains, as well as building and delivering furniture for a high-end furniture store. Looking forward to being in amazing places and doing incredible things - Max’s hobbies include snow skiing, fly fishing, water skiing, swing dancing and rodeos. His best experience on a yacht so far is lobster diving runs along the coast of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida while working on a 55’ Valhalla.

Hailing from Cape Town, South Africa, Caitlin has always had a love for the water. After studying Business Management at the University of Cape Town she began her maritime adventure and truly has found an affinity in the Yachting Industry. Caitlin strives to provide a wonderful, well-rounded experience – with a mix of relaxation, adventure and fun she hopes that guests leave with many happy memories of their time spent onboard. Her favourite yachting experience to date is a summer spent cruising Alaska – ice swimming, glacier hiking, beach camp fires and enjoying the abundant wildlife from humpback whales and orcas to bears, moose and bald eagles. In her free time, Caitlin enjoys water sports (swimming, water polo, wakeboarding and scuba diving), creative projects, reading, running/hiking and photography.
