With a five-year culinary diploma and professional experience in renowned restaurants in France and the Caribbean, Noemie combines strong technical training with creativity and adaptability in the galley.
She is skilled in menu design, provisioning, and managing diverse dietary requirements, including vegetarian, gluten-free, lactose-free, and pescatarian diets. Having worked under a French MasterChef and sommeliers, she has developed strong skills in fine dining, wine pairing, table presentation, and anticipatory service.
With experience as Sole and Second Stewardess on private yachts up to 124 feet, Kirsten excels in interior detailing, provisioning, guest relations, and service. Her calm, organized approach and eye for detail make her a trusted team member onboard.
Holding WSET Level 2 in Wines, STCW 2010, ENG1, and Food Safety & Hygiene certifications, she pairs solid qualifications with a warm, polished presence. Dual-national (German/South African) and well-traveled, Kirsten enjoys yoga, water sports, mountain biking, and exploring new destinations.

Captain St. John Steel is a British-South African yachting professional with over 15 years of industry experience and a proven track record across both private and charter operations. Holding an MCA Chief Mate 3000GT and Yachtmaster Ocean qualification, he combines extensive command experience with strong operational, technical, and leadership capabilities gained throughout a diverse career spanning deck, engineering, captaincy, and senior officer roles.
Having captained busy private and charter yachts for many years before progressing into officer positions on larger vessels, John brings a comprehensive understanding of yacht management and guest operations. His experience includes vessel deliveries, fleet management, large-scale refits, new-build projects, audits, safety compliance, bridge management, and charter operations throughout the Mediterranean and beyond. Most recently, he has served aboard prominent charter yachts including the 72m M/Y Axioma and 55m M/Y Warda, where he played key roles in navigation, deck management, compliance, and operational readiness.
John is recognised for his strong seamanship, practical problem-solving abilities, and hands-on leadership style. With significant engineering knowledge alongside his deck expertise, he is comfortable managing both operational and technical challenges while maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and guest service. Professional, approachable, and highly committed, he takes pride in developing strong crews and creating a positive onboard culture that supports both crew performance and guest satisfaction.
Lienge Lamprecht is a South African mate with a strong background in deck operations, watersports instruction, and leadership within both private and charter yacht environments. Holding a Yachtmaster 200T along with multiple tender, powerboat, and PWC qualifications, she combines practical seamanship with a proactive and guest-focused approach. Having grown up around boats and watersports from an early age, she developed a natural affinity for the marine industry and has built a reputation as a hardworking, reliable, and highly adaptable crew member.
Her experience includes operating on busy dual-season programs in the Mediterranean and Caribbean, where she has been involved in navigation watches, anchoring and docking operations, crane work, shipyard projects, tender driving, watersports management, and deck team coordination. Being the Lead Deckhand aboard M/Y Defiant, she took on increased responsibility for deck organisation, contractor coordination, inventory management, and supporting complex technical projects, demonstrating strong leadership potential and attention to detail.
With a degree in Physiology and Psychology and a background as a professional athlete, personal trainer, and watersports instructor, Lienge brings a unique combination of physical capability, discipline, and guest engagement skills to life on board. Passionate about fitness, adventure, and personal development, she is known for her positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to creating exceptional experiences for both owners and guests while contributing positively to the wider crew dynamic of M/Y BAD MUTHA.
Mercy Brew is a highly capable Ghanaian Marine Engineer with a strong technical background gained across both commercial shipping and luxury yacht operations. Holding a Class III/2 Marine Engineer License (Y2 equivalent), she is qualified as Chief Engineer on vessels under 3000kW and Second Engineer on unlimited tonnage vessels. Her career has seen her progress through the engineering ranks aboard large commercial vessels before transitioning into the yachting industry, bringing with her a wealth of operational knowledge and engineering expertise.
Her experience encompasses engine room watchkeeping, machinery maintenance, auxiliary systems, boilers, pumps, freshwater generators, sewage treatment plants, heat exchangers, and shipboard engineering management. More recently, she has worked aboard yachts including M/Y Defiant, M/Y Arthur’s Way, and M/Y Kefi, where she has gained hands-on experience maintaining MTU and CAT engines, generators, stabilisation systems, chillers, watermakers, and a variety of onboard technical equipment. Her broad technical knowledge, combined with strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive maintenance approach, ensures vessels operate safely and efficiently.
