Originally a project management consultant in London, Ben joined the yachting industry 14 years ago. He has worked his way up to Chief Officer on a wide range of private and commercial motor yachts, including a 4-year circumnavigation on a 50m explorer vessel. Having completed his Master 3000gt licence in 2017, Ben spent two and a half years in the Pacific North West on a 75m and completed a 90m new build project in Germany. Living on the island of Mallorca, Spain, if he’s not rock climbing, cycling, surfing or on adventures with his young daughters, Ben will be found digging through crates of vinyl in the nearest record shop.

Henry was born and raised in a coastal city in New Zealand. He started his electrical engineering apprenticeship in 2018. After becoming qualified, Henry embarked on his OE, traveling Asia, Europe and some parts of Africa. Growing up in a coastal city, Henry was always around the ocean and boats which lead him into the yachting industry.

Saidhbhe is originally from Norfolk, UK. After completing her education, she discovered an interest in a career working on superyachts. She was also looking for a change from her life ashore, so after working in several cocktail bars, she realised that she could bring her passion for hospitality and service to the sea! She loves mixing drinks and getting creative with garnishes and will go above and beyond to bring new ideas to the team. In her spare time, Saidhbhe enjoys yoga, hiking in scenic destinations, taking part in watersports and expressing her creativity through embroidery and cake decoration.

Jack is from a small town called St Ives on the Southwest coast of England. He gained his love for the ocean from a young age having grown up surfing and swimming all year round. He also used to compete in amateur boxing. Before he joined the industry in 2019, Jack worked as an apprentice carpenter doing timber framing and house refurbishments. Jack heard about yachting through a friend and has never looked back since. In his spare time, you’ll most likely find Jack in the gym or surfing on his travels.

Peter started his career as a chef in his home country of Scotland, working in top restaurants, notably Restaurant Martin Wishart*. He then moved to Spain and worked at Via Veneto* and the famous Disfrutar** in Barcelona. After five years of working in Spain he decided to continue his career in France where he spent a year working under the Chef Jean Alexandre Ourratta* in Brittany. He then moved to the Basque country where he was able to work alongside Les Frères Ibarboure** . Now, he has the opportunity to work on board BATON ROUGE and use the skills and techniques he has learned in his career to wow the guests.

Alfonso was born in the Dominican Republic and was brought up in Barcelona, Spain. After finishing school there, he went on to study for four years at a culinary school in the Canary Islands where he developed a real passion for cooking. After graduating, Alfonso moved to England to expand his skills by learning English but also new cuisines. In Liverpool, he took his first job as Chef de Partie in Nova restaurant, which is a fine dining establishment. He then moved on to join the team at Justino’s, a,traditional Italian restaurant, where he became a pizza and pastry chef. Over the next six years at Justino’s, Alfonso moved up the ranks from Sous Chef to Head Chef in just three years and ran a team of 12 chefs. Alfonso’s dream to progress into the yachting industry came about in 2018 and has since worked on several vessels as sole chef, providing delicious food for both crew and guests. Alfonso is excited to provide his diverse range of cooking skills using his international expertise to assist in making each guest trip one to remember!

Lisa was born in Edinburgh and grew up in the Scottish Borders. Her love for hospitality lead her to complete a four year University degree in Languages and Tourism Management in 2010, before then embarking on her professional yachting career.
Lisa has had a love for the ocean since a young age. She enjoys swimming, snorkelling and diving and has completed her PADI Advanced open water course as well as Nitrox and shipwreck specialty course. Other hobbies include running, hiking and in general keeping active. Having worked on a range of vessels over the years, Lisa stepped up to become a Chief Stewardess in 2018. She has sailed extensively throughout the Mediterranean, Caribbean & US East coast and has gained invaluable experiences along the way.
Lisa is also extremely passionate about the world of wine and is currently in the last stages of completing the WSET Diploma in Wines and Spirits, with an aim to one day become a Master of Wine. Guest service is something Lisa takes great pride in and together with her team will go above and beyond to make your stay one to remember!

Nicole was born in South Africa before migrating to the south coast of the United Kingdom at a young age. She comes from a family that love to travel and explore new places so quickly inherited the same desire to travel. She became an air hostess for several years before completely up rooting her life and heading to New Zealand where she lived and experienced a complete change of scenery. After a few years she decided to go back to more of a hospitality based role that still gave her the option to see the world and a job on a yacht presented itself. She hasn’t looked back since!

Nenad was born in the city of Trogir, Croatia. Living on the coast he has always been influenced by seafarers. This combined with a love for travel, he decided to become a seafarer. He developed a love for shipbuilding and decided to go to a marine engineering school and later to a maritime faculty, majoring in mechanical engineering. He started his maritime career on passenger ferries and worked there for several years. He then worked for 10 years across Europe constructing large ships and managing the machinery room equipment. He then decided to sail again and went on to build a career on large ships for the transportation of various cargoes and then passenger ships for cruises. For the last six years he has been working on superyachts as an engineer, a job which fulfils him. Nenad always gives his maximum to make sure everything runs smoothly on the ship. He also has the privilege of meeting new people, new destinations and different cultures.

Aleksandr was born in a little seafarer’s city by the sea in Lithuania. The proximity to the sea is the reason he is still a seaman today. Aleksandr finished Maritime school in his home city in Klaipeda. He has sailed across many different countries and continents on container vessels and has been sailing on board motor yachts for the past four years. Aleksandr has worked his way up from cadet to Second Engineer level and holds his Second Engineer Unlimited Certificate. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, reading books, boxing, basketball and has a passion for football and he played for the Lithuanian youth national football team in the past.
