Overview
BELUGA is an explorer-style motor yacht, custom-built by Moonen in 2006 and last refitted in 2024. She was built as a go-anywhere yacht with a 4,000 nm range, a robust, elegant style, a wide beam, and, therefore, unusually large volume for her length. Her homeport of Cairns is the perfect getaway to the Great Barrier Reef. BELUGA’s interior layout sleeps up to 10-12 guests in 5 staterooms, including a master suite, 2 double cabins (with dividing wall, which creates 2 single beds in each cabin), 2 twin cabins and 2 pullman beds. Timeless styling, beautiful furnishings and sumptuous seating feature throughout her living areas to create an elegant and comfortable atmosphere. The experienced team of 6 crew onboard ensures a relaxed luxury yacht experience. BELUGA comprises four impressive decks, providing privacy and numerous dining and lounging options. Her expansive sundeck features a 4-person Jacuzzi, whilst a secret spot is hidden up the monkey island or “Grand Crow’s Nest”… the ideal place for whale watching, reef spotting, or enjoying a champagne sunset! In June and July, join BELUGA and her Crew to encounter the unique dwarf minke whales on the Australian Barrier Reef, with an expert guide - a once in a lifetime experience! Engaged in exploration and philanthropy, BELUGA has been an award-winning superyacht for her performance and the experiences she delivers: . Winner of the 2021 Ocean Awards by BOAT International, Arksen and the Blue Marine Foundation . A finalist at the 2019 BOAT INTERNATIONAL World Superyacht Awards (Category: Voyage Award, Itinerary: The Great Barrier Reef, Australia). . Gifted for the production of BLUE - The Film, North East Australia (Northern Pictures, 2017) . A supporter of projects such as Take3forthesea . Volunteering missions at The Turtle Sanctuary, Conflict Islands (PNG) . Participant in the Great Reef Census, Australia - in collaboration with Citizens of the Great Barrier Reef.
