Originally from the coastal town of Poole in Dorset, UK, Nigel began his career as a qualified electrician - but the call of the ocean soon led him to pursue his lifelong love of sailing.

Before stepping into the world of yachting, Nigel was an accomplished competitive sailor across Europe. Over the past two decades, he has built an impressive maritime career, logging over 115,000 nautical miles, including 10 Atlantic crossings and a Trans-Pacific passage. His experience as a sail captain has shaped his expertise, adaptability, and commitment to safety - qualities that now shine through in his leadership aboard Benita Blue.

This season marks his 12th aboard the yacht, and his transition from sail to motor yachts has only deepened his enthusiasm for providing outstanding charter experiences. Friendly, professional, and always approachable, Nigel is known for his warm personality and can-do attitude. Paige joins Benita Blue as Deckhand, bringing fresh enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and a natural connection to life at sea. Originally from Durban, South Africa, she has always had a deep love for the ocean—spending her free time surfing, paddleboarding, and enjoying all things water-related.

Having recently completed her yachting qualifications, Paige is excited to be part of the professional crew onboard Benita Blue this season. She thrives in active, team-oriented environments and is known for her reliability, attention to detail, and positive attitude.

Sam joins Benita Blue as Stewardess, bringing a bright, positive energy and a naturally warm approach to guest care. Friendly, attentive and full of enthusiasm, she helps create the kind of relaxed, welcoming atmosphere on board that immediately puts guests at ease. With a background in hospitality, teaching and travel, she is wonderfully people-focused, highly adaptable and confident in fast-paced environments.

She has already gained hands-on experience aboard Benita Blue, assisting with housekeeping, laundry, table setting, cocktail service and general interior preparation. Sam takes real pride in making spaces feel beautifully presented and welcoming, while helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes.
