Now based in Mallorca for over 16 years, Richard has worked on a wide range of motor and sailing yachts between 30 and 50 metres. His technical expertise, combined with his meticulous attention to detail, ensures that everything behind the scenes on Benita Blue runs smoothly and efficiently—so guests can relax and enjoy their time on board without a second thought.

Outside of work, Richard enjoys exploring Mallorca’s natural beauty with his family, often heading out on hikes to soak up the island’s landscapes. He’s also a devoted dog owner, and his kind, down-to-earth nature shines through in both his professional and personal life.

With his wealth of experience, quiet dedication, and love for life at sea, Richard is a vital part of the Benita Blue crew, ensuring each charter is as seamless as it is memorable.

Paige joins Benita Blue as Deckhand, bringing fresh enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and a natural connection to life at sea. Originally from Durban, South Africa, she has always had a deep love for the ocean—spending her free time surfing, paddleboarding, and enjoying all things water-related.

Having recently completed her yachting qualifications, Paige is excited to be part of the professional crew onboard Benita Blue this season. She thrives in active, team-oriented environments and is known for her reliability, attention to detail, and positive attitude.

Friendly, hardworking, and hands-on, Paige is always ready to assist guests with water toys, beach set-ups, or simply making sure the deck is in perfect condition. Her goal is to ensure that every moment on board is seamless, safe, and full of enjoyment for all.

Bradley brings a wealth of experience and an unwavering passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences to Benita Blue. Captain Nigel has been at the helm of Benita Blue since early 2014, leading the yacht with a calm, confident presence and a deep passion for the sea. Originally from the coastal town of Poole in Dorset, UK, Nigel began his career as a qualified electrician - but the call of the ocean soon led him to pursue his lifelong love of sailing.

Before stepping into the world of yachting, Nigel was an accomplished competitive sailor across Europe. Over the past two decades, he has built an impressive maritime career, logging over 115,000 nautical miles, including 10 Atlantic crossings and a Trans-Pacific passage. His experience as a sail captain has shaped his expertise, adaptability, and commitment to safety - qualities that now shine through in his leadership aboard Benita Blue.

This season marks his 12th aboard the yacht, and his transition from sail to motor yachts has only deepened his enthusiasm for providing outstanding charter experiences. Friendly, professional, and always approachable, Nigel is known for his warm personality and can-do attitude. He takes great pride in creating a relaxed yet refined atmosphere on board, ensuring every guest feels welcome, cared for, and completely at ease.
