BLACK PEARL is a 350’ (105 m) sailing yacht that is undoubtedly one of the most iconic and technologically advanced vessels ever built. Delivered by Oceanco in 2018, she accommodates 12 guests in up to seven luxurious cabins, attended by a crew of 27. With an unmistakable silhouette shaped by three 232’ (70.6 m) DynaRig carbon masts and nearly 32,292 sqft (3,000 sqm) of sail deployed in under seven minutes, BLACK PEARL is the result of a visionary collaboration between Ken Freivokh Design, Nuvolari Lenard, and Gerard P. Villate. Standout features on board include a beach club that transforms into a night lounge, a hammam, sauna, massage room, gym, and the largest exterior cinema screen ever installed on a sailing yacht. Accommodating 12 guests in up to seven impeccably appointed cabins, BLACK PEARL offers a versatile and elegant layout ideal for families, couples, or groups of friends. From the two private VIP suites on the lower deck to the expansive salon spaces spread across three levels, each area is crafted with bespoke silk carpets, refined mahogany finishes, and a timeless sense of classical comfort. Whether entertaining in the formal dining room that seats 18 with fold-out balconies over the ocean, or unwinding in the serene upper deck lounge, the yacht’s interiors are effortlessly sophisticated.
The yacht also offers a sanctuary of wellness and relaxation. Guests can indulge in a full spa experience complete with a hammam, sauna, massage room, and a gym. The lower deck wellness spa, which also transforms into a night lounge, features a star-studded ceiling replicating the constellations over Rotterdam on the night of her 2018 launch.
The main deck’s pool area cleverly transforms into an open-air dance floor, ideal for evening celebrations under the stars, with direct access to the night lounge for late-night enjoyment. He appreciates working with people from diverse backgrounds and values the unique travel experiences that come with yachting.

Passionate about sailing, kiteboarding, and surfing, he thrives under pressure and enhances every voyage with calm professionalism.

Max’s passions include skiing, rugby, wakeboarding, and motor racing. He loves yachting for the thrill of handling impressive vessels and regatta racing.

Captain Chris Gartner, an American-Austrian, has 33 years of maritime experience, primarily on sailing yachts. He contributed to the Maltese Falcon's pioneering Dynarig technology and completed 12 days of rewarding relief work on Motor Yacht SENSES in cyclone-stricken Vanuatu. Chris loves to ski big mountains, mountain biking, sailing, and kiting.

Benjamin’s been sailing for four years, racing in the Loro Piana with SY Missy and snagging 2nd at the Superyacht Cup. He’s also done a season aboard the legendary J Class Lionheart. With Powerboat Level 2 and navigation watch under his belt, Benjamin is a passionate sailor when he can spend all day fishing. He can also be found fying down mountain bike trails. He thrives on good crew vibes and the buzz of life at sea.
