For over 20 years Stephan has been engaged in ocean-going adventures, from sailing across various blue oceans to diving the depths of countless world-renowned reefs, wrecks, and colorful destinations. Born in Namibia, Stephan started his career in hospitality management, excelling in the high-end service industry.
Being an avid sailor, and always in search for new horizons, it was evident that building a career in the superyacht Industry would soon follow, combining his navigation skills with the luxury private and charter world. Having cruised more than 200,000 nautical miles worldwide, Stephan has built up a vast experience in the super yachting industry, previously in command as Captain of the magnificent AHPO. Stephan enjoys extensive knowledge of global navigation, from the Northern and Southern Atlantic Oceans, the Pacific and Indian Oceans, the Baltic Sea, Western and Eastern Mediterranean, including Lebanon, through Egypt and the Red Sea. Proud achievements of note are sailing around Cape Horn, South America, New Zealand’s Fjord lands, whale watching in Newfoundland’s foggy cold waters, and searching for Komodo Dragons in
the remote Indonesian Archipelago.

Danny’s journey began in Rijeka, where he was born on the idyllic island of Mali Losinj in Croatia. The breathtaking waters surrounding him inspired his dream of a life at sea. After completing his education at a Marine high school, he dedicated three years to earning his Bachelor’s in Marine Engineering. This was just the beginning of his career, as he joined commercial ships in 1998 and steadily climbed the ladder of success.
He then transitioned to yachts for three years before joining cruise ships for several years. Realizing his real passion, he returned to the yachting world four years later and has not looked back. Danny loves spending his off-time with family and fishing.

Stuart grew up and attended school in a small village in West Yorkshire, England where he lived all his childhood. At the young age of 17, he started his career at sea. In 1991, he joined the Royal Navy and completed a 4-year Artificer Apprenticeship in Marine Engineering. He served a total of 8 years in the Royal Navy before making the transition to Super Yachts in year 2000. He started his yachting career on MY Virginian, a beautiful canoe stern Feadship owned by a British family. Stuart has been married for 21 years and worked alongside his wife on Yachts for 17 years, before she transitioned ashore. Stuart enjoys keeping active by visiting the gym and cycling in his down time. He also enjoys the great outdoors, living out in the countryside in Yorkshire.

Kate grew up by the ocean in the picturesque town of Bateau Bay on the NSW Central Coast. From a young age, she spent much of her free time at the beach, whether competing in Surf Lifesaving or enjoying time with family and friends. At nearly 16, Kate left school to begin her career, starting as a Medical Administrator before advancing to the role of Personal Assistant to the Head of Radiology at one of Sydney’s largest private hospitals. At the age of 28, she decided to embark on a new adventure in Canada. In 2011, Kate joined her
first yacht and has since gained experience across multiple departments, including Housekeeping, Service, and Galley, where she worked as Crew Cook. Progressing through the years, she has developed a passion for administration, culminating in her transition into the role of Purser in 2025. In her spare time, Kate enjoys reading on the beach, planning her next travel adventure, or tackling a challenging puzzle when at home.

Amelia was born into a farming family in Zimbabwe, but she now calls Zambia home, where she looks to build a house, not too far from the Zambezi River. Amelia had a gap year in the UK, and from here, she was able to explore Europe, discovering yachting in the process. This little landlocked farm girl decided
to try her time on the seas and hasn’t looked back! After almost a decade in the industry, she has gained invaluable experience on a variety of yachts ranging from 26m-74m, both private and charter.
Amelia thoroughly enjoys the yachting industry and all it has to offer. She is excited to embark on her new adventure on board M/Y BREAKTHROUGH.

Angus is from Stamford, UK and since the age of seven has sailed around the Mediterranean on 40-to55-foot Sailing yachts. He first found his love for the sea much younger down in Salcombe, Devon where he sailed dinghy’s, learned to drive tenders and spent the rest of his holidays on the beach and in the water. Angus acquired his RYA Yachtmaster at UKSA on the Isle of White and is now working towards getting his OOW 3000. His last role for the duration of 2 years was spent aboard 74m M/Y Andrea (Ex Lady Jorgia) as Bosun. In his free time, he likes to travel the world finding new and excited places. He has also just purchased flat in London so enjoying hosting guests and making the place his own.

Gill grew up in Canada. She discovered yachting while backpacking around Europe at a young age and never looked back. Gill has worked on yachts for 8 years and quickly progressed to Chief Stewardess. She then took a break from yachting to pursue her passions and went to study Naturopathy and Herbal Medicine in Perth, Australia for 3 years. Thereafter Gill moved to Barcelona to start her wellness business and complete her yoga teacher training in Bali. During that time, Gill also worked part-time for 3.5 years with an Owner’s
Rep as a Project Assistant for new build yacht projects, completing a 99m Feadship. Gill is passionate about the outdoors and enjoys staying active. Her favourite activities include yoga, running, hiking, snowboarding, diving, and various water sports. Gill loves to travel and is interested in anything health and wellness-based.

Reece was born in a small shipping town in Scotland called Greenock, which is very well known for shipbuilding and shipping in general. He left school at 16 years of age to pursue a career in the shipping industry where he joined the Merchant Navy at Warsash Maritime Academy in 2014. Reece was training
at Warsash Maritime Academy for 3 years qualifying as Officer of the Watch in 2017 after a varied seagoing stage on many different commercial boats including cruise ships and an Antarctic Research Vessel. He stayed in the commercial industry until 2022 on a variety of ships, but mainly oil and gas before moving across to the yachting industry in late 2022. Reece enjoys anything health, fitness and outdoors related and loves to spend his time off the boat climbing Munros in his homeland of Scotland Reece used to play football in a professional youth setting for a variety of teams in Scotland and still enjoys playing in his free time.

Martin grew up in South-West England in close proximity to the sea. He started sailing at a young age, where he later found his passion for being on the water, which eventually led him into a career at sea by joining the yachting industry in 2012. After a short time in the industry, Martin moved to the offshore oil and gas industry to obtain his commercial qualifications before later returning, progressing to the rank of Chief Officer sailing on vessels between 75m and 140m. In his spare time, Martin enjoys sea swimming, running, ice baths and hiking.
