Maria was born in Navojoa, Sonora, and grew up in Cabo San Lucas, where she developed a passion for tourism from a young age and inspired to pursue a degree in alternative tourism in La Paz. She began working in customer service at the age of 12, gaining early experience in guest interaction and hospitality. She now has five years of experience working on various yachts in the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific, on both private and charter vessels, where she has developed strong adaptability to different onboard environments and guest expectations. Maria considers herself a responsible, hardworking, and kind person, with a natural focus on delivering attentive service and maintaining a positive atmosphere on board. Outside of yachting, she enjoys spending time at the beach with loved ones and exploring new places around the world.

Luis Enrique was born in La Paz into a family of fishermen. His interest in the sea began at a very young age, leading him to study outboard motor mechanics at the CETMAR high school. He launched his maritime career in 2020, starting as a crew member on the 116’ Cada Uno before advancing to Cada Dia. He has experience navigating the Sea of Cortez and the Mediterranean, working in charters, shipyards, private yacht service, and general maintenance. Known for his reliability, work ethic, and hands-on approach, he takes pride in supporting safe and efficient operations on board. Outside of yachting, he enjoys automotive painting, playing American football, and spending quality time with his family. He remains focused on continuing to develop his skills within the maritime industry.

Luis Enrique Miranda Alvarez
Engineer
Luis was born in Acapulco, and moved to La Paz at the age of six, where he grew up admiring yacht workers from an early age and developed an early appreciation for life at sea and maritime work culture. After completing high school at 18, he chose to follow in his family’s footsteps and secured his first contract as a sailor aboard the 120’ Mi Amor. He now has two years of experience working as a sailor across different vessels in the Sea of Cortez, supporting daily deck operations, maintenance, and watchkeeping duties, developing strong practical seamanship skills. Luis aspires to become a Captain like his father, continuing a family tradition at sea. Outside of yachting, he enjoys swimming, cycling, and drawing.

Norma is from La Paz and began her maritime career in 2011 as a sailor in a coastal fleet, building a solid foundation in seamanship and onboard safety. In 2015, she transitioned to Stewardess aboard the 96' Catari, operating charter programmes from Cabo San Lucas. Throughout her career, Norma has cruised the Gulf of California, the Pacific Ocean, the Mediterranean, and the Atlantic, including routes from Bordeaux through the Bay of Biscay to Gibraltar. She is recognised for her positive attitude, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to guest service, while also fostering strong teamwork among crew members. Known for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere on board, Norma brings dedication and experience to every programme. Outside of yachting, she especially enjoys baking and cooking.

Born in La Paz, Ángel’s passion for the maritime world began in his youth, leading him to study at CETMAR high school in pursuit of a life at sea. He launched his yachting career at 21 aboard 75’ Farfalla. His career has since taken him through a range of vessels, including 118’ Lady Nina, 75’ Alaya, 75’ Azor, and now, Cada Dia. He has navigated diverse waters across the Sea of Cortez, the Pacific Ocean, and the Mediterranean, completing passages from the south of France to the southern coast of Sicily. Ángel describes himself as responsible, kind, and hardworking, prioritising exemplary service alongside the well-being and safety of all on board. Outside yachting, he enjoys playing football and baseball with friends in his free time.

Aldo was born in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico. Drawn to the maritime world from a young age, he moved to Veracruz to study for a naval pilot degree at the Fernando Siliceo y Torres Merchant Marine Academy, graduating in 2019. Since beginning his career, Aldo has served as a Deck Officer aboard private yachts and commercial vessels, developing strong experience in safe navigation, maneuvering operations, and maintaining the high aesthetic standards expected on board. Calm, confident, and highly efficient, he is known for creating a safe and professional environment for both crew and guests, with safety always his top priority. Dedicated to continual growth in the maritime industry, Aldo takes pride in contributing his knowledge and strong work ethic to every vessel he joins. Outside work, he enjoys family, swimming, and the gym.

Aldo Alexis Garcia Lopez
First Officer
Guillermo is from Manzanillo, Colima, Mexico, one of the Pacific’s most important ports linking Asia and Latin America. He began his maritime career at just 10 years old, assisting visiting regatta crews from San Diego at Marina Las Hadas, later studying navigation, meteorology, and industrial fishing techniques. Since earning his Captain’s licence in 1997, he has gained extensive experience navigating the Mediterranean, Adriatic, Atlantic, Pacific, Florida, the Bahamas, the Exumas, the Mexican Caribbean, and the Sea of Cortez. Guillermo is especially respected for his knowledge of remote anchorages throughout the Sea of Cortez. In 2014, he won first place in the prestigious East Cape tournament hosted by Besbes. He has supervised the construction of four vessels ranging from 75 to 136 feet, upholding exceptional standards across safety, operations, and presentation.

Born in Torino, Italy, Chef Alessandro earned his diploma from the prestigious Principi Di Piemonte Tourism Institute. With over 30 years of international experience, he has served as Executive Chef at Marriott Marbella Beach Resort and Assistant Executive Chef at Hyatt Regency properties in Spain and the US. His career has taken him across Mexico, Europe, Southeast Asia, Micronesia, the Middle East, and the Caribbean, including roles with Disney Cruise Line and Star Cruise. Chef Mancuso is fluent in English and Spanish alongside his native Italian. A winner of the TV program "Chef on the Water" and author of the cookbook Taste of the Street, he also received the HYinnovator Award in 2006. We are confident his international experience, culinary expertise, and passion for hospitality will further enhance the Cada Dia experience for our guests.
