Tom was raised in the town of Bath, Maine with his parents and dog. From an early age, he has been sailing, which sparked his passion for being on the sea and ultimately led him to yachting. Tom played the trumpet in the school orchestra and enjoyed playing other instruments. Tom participated in the school's rugby and hockey teams and loves to play sports. He enjoys spending time skiing in the mountains throughout the winter.

Amelia is from the coastal city of Chichester, located about 1 hour south of London but was born in Germany and moved around the UK for many years during her parents’ military careers. Last year, Amelia graduated from Exeter University with a degree in Politics and International Relations. She hopes to complete a postgraduate law conversion in the future after working on yachts for a couple of years. Amelia enjoys all things outdoors, especially hiking, cycling, and diving. In addition to that she has a strong interest in exploring different cultures, food, and history and is excited to further her travels through yachting.

Louis is from a small fishing village in southwest Wales. He attended the London School of Economics to study, politics and international relations. Following a position at a market research company in London, Louis knew he wanted more adventure and felt the calling of the sea. He enjoys fishing, climbing, listening to music and reading a good book.

Alex grew up in the north of Sweden in a small city called Ornskoldsvik. After graduating from high school in 2021 she flew down to the south of France to start her yachting career. She is a keen snowboarder and skier, loves to dance and go to concerts. Alex also enjoys reading and learning new things in her spare time. Alex hopes in the future to study business, with a term abroad in the United States

Dan is from the west coast of Scotland. Dan left school and went to sea at the age of 18, working in commercial shipping. Dan enjoys riding his motorbike, shooting, and playing the bagpipes and occasionally you might catch him on the karaoke, singing his favorite country songs!

Rob was raised in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. After studying marine engineering through the cadetship program, he then started his career at sea onboard off-shore multi-role vessels before transitioning to yachting and joining us on Calex. Rob enjoys all sports but has a keen interest for Football, Rugby, Golf, and Fishing.

Jorie was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and grew up in Worth Beach, Florida. As a child, she always had a love for the water, whether it was fishing, snorkelling, wakeboarding or tubing, so yachting seemed like a perfect fit! Outside of work, she loves exercising, reading, hiking, camping, traveling and just being on the water.

Sam was born and raised in South Shields, Newcastle upon Tyne, in the UK. Before joining Calex he completed his engineering cadetship at South Shields Marine School for three and a half years. He then spent a year working on commercial vessels such as emergency response and rescue vessels. He enjoys fishing and sports, primarily football and supports Newcastle United.

Lester has been at sea from the age of 13 years old, working on fishing boats, Royal Navy ships and submarines, deep sea rescue and now yachts. He has lived for long periods in several countries; Scotland, Wales, England, Monaco, Spain and now resides in the south of France with his wife and three daughters. Lester enjoys gardening, ploughing land with his mini digger and trying new dark rums. He also loves a good pun and a double entendre.

Jessica grew up in Bielefield, Germany where she is one of 9 children! After leaving school Jessica went on to train as a Masseuse and Beautician and shortly after moved to Spain – it was here she learned that her passion for beauty and travel could be combined and so she began her career at sea onboard an expedition cruise ship. From Antarctica to South America, the Azores through Europe, Jessica is certainly well travelled. In her spare time, she likes to explore new places/cultures, relax by the ocean and try a local beer or two.
