Steve comes from a background of fixing all toys and gadgets from an early age. From his terrible two’s up until now, Steve has taken apart and put back together everything that he has gotten his hands on from lawn mowers to the rebuilding of engines for the Space Shuttle. During his 10 years in the U.S. Air Force, he was a Crew Chief on various aircrafts as well as being a dedicate photographer for the Space Shuttle launch system in California. During this time Steve had the opportunity to move about the globe and spend lots of time in all 50 states. Previous to Chantal Ma Vie, Steve was the Chief Engineer aboard Blind Date- 40m Lurssen, Plan B - 50m Motor Yacht, and Sun Chaser - 44m Richmond. He currently drives a 32 year old VW and paddles a 20 year old kayak when his is not onboard Chantal Ma Vie.
Originally from Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida Dave has been working aboard Chantal Ma Vie since February 2011 and has a total of 31 years in the culinary industry. Dave opened several restaurants along the east coast before joining the yachting industry. He studied culinary arts at Johnson and Wales University. Out of the galley, Dave enjoys surfing, fitness, and is an avid music and sports-enthusiast.
Pete was born in Brooklyn, New York but was raised in Fort Lauderdale and has been in the yachting industry for 5+ years, as a crew member on Chantal Ma View since March 2018. Pete has been the Bosun for 3 years and has acquired his 100-ton license and is working towards getting his 200-ton license. Pete grew up taking many trips to Ecuador where he became fluent in Spanish. His love for fishing began when he was young and caught his first Marlin in the Bahamas. Pete loves to fish, play sports, and enjoys all activities outdoors. He takes pride in providing a safe and enjoyable experience for guests at all times.
Bill was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he began his career in yachting. He has been aboard Chantal ma vie since may 2010 and has worked in the yachting industry for over 10 years. With a preference for warm weather and sun, in his free time bill enjoys fishing and diving.

Eva was born and raised in Northern Utah where she grew up rock climbing, hiking, and boating. While working for a catering company for 3 years, Eva’s favorite part was to see how putting on events heightened guest’s experiences and excitement. She went to Southern Utah University for a year before she decided to leave her studies for now to combine her love for the outdoors and travel to enter the yachting industry and join Chantal Ma Vie. When not working, Eva enjoys cooking for her friends, finding new places to go, and meeting as many new people as she can.
Joseph was born and raised in Orange County, California where he was surrounded by his love for the ocean, sports, classic cars, and scuba diving. Joseph’s childhood is filled with memories working on and racing classic corvettes as well as getting scuba certified at age 10. Later in life he moved to Northern California where he became yoga certified and received his bachelors at Humboldt State University to then be followed up with working in Medical Sales. The opportunity arose to head to Fort Lauderdale to start a new career in yachting as a deckhand, shortly after arriving he joined Chantal Ma Vie.
Gigi was raised in Pennsylvania and vacationed at the beach every summer. After graduating from college in Newport, Rhode Island, she had a very strong passion for not only living right on the water but working on it. While working in the hospitality industry for 5 years, she combined her passion for the service industry and love of the ocean to start her yachting career. Since joining Chantal Ma Vie over for 1.5 years ago Gigi thrives creating memorable experiences for all guests while aboard. When not working, Gigi loves watching the sunset, snorkeling with sea turtles, and being active outdoors.

Matthew grew up with a military background that moved him all over the country but is originally born in Coco Beach, Florida. His father is a captain in the US Coast Guard and started Matthew on boats from a very young age. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, boating, and water sports. Previously before yachting and going Chantal Ma Vie Matthew was a state champion wrestler from Maryland. While living in Maryland he owned and operated a commercial crabbing business out of the Chesapeake Bay.
