Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, JM grew up spending most of his free time by the ocean. He began fishing at a young age and later took on new challenges such as spearfishing and freediving. After finishing school, his strong connection to the sea made a maritime career a natural choice. JM spent two years working aboard commercial fishing vessels, targeting yellowfin tuna off the African coast, before transitioning into luxury charter programs where he focused on creating unforgettable fishing experiences for guests. After a year in the charter sector, he took his passion to the next level by joining the yachting industry. A dedicated fisherman at heart, JM can almost always be found near the water — whether fishing, diving, or simply enjoying the sun.
