Vjeko holds a diploma in electrical engineering and has spent nearly a decade working along the Dalmatian coast on various ships and vessels. His experience spans all aspects of yacht operations, including tender driving, repairs, navigation, engine maintenance, and exterior management. Known for his calm and approachable demeanor, Vjeko is highly valued by both guests and crew. His strong organizational and technical skills make him an asset to any yacht. In 2024, he served as Chief Engineer aboard the 52m Scorpios (Tramontana Fleet) and now continues his journey with Clase Azul, eager to contribute his expertise to this dynamic and motivated team.

Marino thrives in dynamic, outdoor environments that promote learning and teamwork, making the yachting industry a natural fit. Over the past six years, he has gained extensive experience across a variety of vessels, advancing from wooden ships to gulets and motor yachts. His diverse background includes roles as a waiter, electrical installer, and rafting skipper, equipping him with strong communication, problem-solving, and technical skills essential for yacht operations. Recognized for his reliability and leadership, Marino was promoted to First Officer aboard Clase Azul and aspires to become a captain in the future. Outside of yachting, he leads an active lifestyle, training in Judo and engaging in various sports. Now entering his second season aboard Clase Azul, Marino looks forward to welcoming both returning and new guests for an exceptional 2025 season.

Though new to yachting, Anđela has long been captivated by the allure of life at sea and is excited to finally embark on this journey.
Anđela holds degrees in Economics, Business, and Tourism, but for now, she thrives in the dynamic and hands-on world of yachting. She is passionate about connecting with people from around the globe, exploring new destinations, and being part of a dedicated and spirited team.
Guests will be charmed by Anđela’s warm and bubbly personality, which perfectly complements her hardworking and eager-to-learn nature. Fluent in Croatian, English, and Spanish, she’s also an avid learner, recently studying dance and earning her open water diving certification. Dora studied tourism and economics before embarking on a career in hospitality and eventually working in the insurance industry. However, her curiosity and passion for the sea led her to the yachting industry an she hasn’t looked back since. Dora’s cheerful demeanor, excellent communication skills, and keen eye for detail make her an indispensable part of the Clase Azul family. She thrives on challenges, enjoys connecting with people from all walks of life, and delights in contributing to a harmonious team. When not working, Dora enjoys reading, cooking, dancing, hiking, swimming, and staying active. Pero, our young and ambitious addition to the Clase Azul team, has been working in local restaurants. Pero is hard working and diligent, he adapts well to any situation, and works well in a team. Pero’s ultimate goal is to be head chef aboard a yacht one day, but for now, he is thrilled to be a part of the Clase Azul team and learn from Katarina.

Katarina Vrenc boasts a short but impressive professional resume. Before becoming the chef of Zagreb’s ultra-popular bistro Sopal, Ms. Vrenc cooked at Daniela Kramarić’s Plavi podrum and at Ana Grgić Tomić’s Esplanada Zinfandel’s. There aren’t many better restaurants in Croatia to learn the culinary trade. In addition, Katarina Vrenc worked in the Reshetka brand of Nikola Božić from Varaždin, where she also collaborated with Mate Janković. Katarina Vrenc comes from the small town of Mune in the municipality of Matulji, on the border of Kvarner and Istria. In addition to working in top Croatian restaurants, Katarina completed her Gastronomy studies at Aspira. And then two years ago, Katarina Vrenc took over Sopal on Teslina Street in Zagreb. Katarina Vrenc took over Sopal from Marko Turković, our Young Chef of the Year two years ago.
With over 15 years of experience at sea, Ante Zecic is the newly appointed captain of Clase Azul. Since beginning his career in 2009, Ante has worked aboard a wide range of yachts, progressively gaining qualifications and advancing through the ranks. For the past six years, he has served as captain aboard high-demand charter yachts, earning a stellar reputation among brokers, agents, and guests, and building a loyal following of return clients.
Ante is known for his professionalism, responsibility, and attention to detail, always placing guest experience at the forefront. He leads by example, creating an environment of teamwork and respect while taking pride in developing his crew. His previous colleagues have often praised his mentorship and the knowledge they gained under his leadership. While Ante was content in his previous role, his drive for growth led him to seek a new challenge. Clase Azul's outstanding reputation among brokers and clients made it the ideal next step, and Ante was the natural choice to step into the captaincy and continue the legacy left by former Captain Jure (who remains with the company as Fleet Captain).
Ante’s extensive experience and passion for yachting will undoubtedly enhance both the guest experience and crew dynamics. He eagerly looks forward to leading the team aboard Clase Azul in the 2025 season.
