Chef Maria Jose returns to Cloud IX for the 2026 season, having already delighted guests on board in 2024 with her beautifully prepared, flavourful cuisine. With more than 20 years of professional experience and a strong culinary background from the renowned Hofmann School in Barcelona, she brings both depth of knowledge and a calm, thoughtful approach to life on board.
Her style is rooted in Mediterranean cooking, with a natural flair for international and market-led cuisine, always shaped around guest preferences and the rhythm of the charter. Maria Jose is known for creating menus that feel fresh, balanced and personal, whether that means relaxed alfresco lunches, elegant dinners, or lighter wellness-focused dishes. Her training also includes pastry, vegan cooking, and food pairing, adding range and creativity to every meal.
Having worked extensively in the Balearics aboard both private and charter yachts, Maria Jose is highly experienced in provisioning, planning and delivering a seamless onboard dining experience. Guests value not only the quality of her food, but also her adaptability, warm presence and ability to tailor each meal to the occasion. Her return to Cloud IX is a real asset for the season, and a lovely continuation for those who may already know and remember her cooking.

Marie brings a warm and capable approach to life on board Cloud IX, along with several years of experience delivering thoughtful, attentive service on both private and charter yachts. With a background that includes roles as Sole Stewardess and Chief Stewardess, she is confident across all aspects of the interior, from immaculate housekeeping and elegant service to creating a welcoming, well-run atmosphere throughout the guest experience.
Known for her positive energy and naturally caring approach, Marie combines professionalism with a relaxed warmth that guests immediately respond to. She has extensive experience in guest service, provisioning, cabin presentation and organising activities ashore, always ensuring that everything feels seamless and beautifully handled. Her training includes Advanced Silver Service and Superyacht Interior Operations, giving her a strong foundation in refined onboard hospitality.
Based in Mallorca and fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish, Marie is well suited to the rhythm of Mediterranean charters and enjoys creating an atmosphere on board that feels both easy and attentive. Passionate about the sea, surfing and yoga, she brings an upbeat and grounded energy to the team, helping guests feel instantly at home from the moment they step on board.

Now entering his second season on board Cloud IX, Adilson is already a familiar face to many guests after a hugely successful year last season, with delighted clients and excellent feedback throughout. With his calm, capable leadership and warm approach, he has played a key part in creating the relaxed, well-run atmosphere that leaves such a strong impression on board.
Before joining Cloud IX, Adilson spent several successful years at the helm of White Fang, where he built a reputation for consistency, professionalism and exceptional charter experiences. Known for his strong leadership and genuine care for his guests, he is valued for creating the kind of environment where everything feels smooth, enjoyable and thoughtfully handled from start to finish.
Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, Adilson has called Mallorca home since 2007 and knows the Balearic Islands exceptionally well. His local knowledge adds real depth to the charter experience, whether guiding guests towards the crystal-clear coves of Calas de Mallorca or the quieter beauty of Formentera.
Adilson is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English, and greatly enjoys sharing his knowledge of the cruising grounds with international guests. He is also known for bringing together strong, like-minded crews who work seamlessly as a team, helping to deliver the high level of service that guests remember long after their time on board.
For Adilson, the most rewarding part of the job is seeing guests feel happy, relaxed and completely at ease as they enjoy their time on the water. When he is not on board, he enjoys spending time with his family, going for a run, or unwinding with a good book.
