Since 2010 he has captained a wide range of vessels, from Sunreef catamarans to high-performance motor yachts, handling back-to-back charters, owner’s trips, and transatlantic crossings with ease. His career highlights include managing charter programs for high-profile guests and overseeing full seasonal itineraries from Saint Martin to Saint-Tropez.
Javier is known for running efficient, guest-oriented programs, with a leadership style that is calm, organised, and service-driven. He believes in building trusted relationships with owners and guests, ensuring every detail is taken care of—from itinerary planning to daily operations. Off the water, Javier enjoys photography, diving, and exploring new coastal routes that he can later share with guests on board.

Professionally trained as an English teacher, Trinidad Fernández found her ideal career path when she moved from working around the ocean to becoming a stewardess on a luxury yacht. Her love for the sea goes beyond her work, as she is also a keen swimmer and surfer, having competed in numerous events. During her time on board, she discovered her true passion: sharing her sailing experiences to help guests create memorable holiday adventures.
“Trini” has a keen eye for detail and is always attentive to the needs of her guests, making sure the interior of Crazy Love runs smoothly. Her commitment ensures that from the moment guests step aboard, they enjoy a relaxed and seamless experience.

Maria Jesus, originally from Galicia, Spain, brings a warm and adventurous spirit to her role as a stewardess. Raised around the world thanks to her father’s naval career, she developed an early passion for the ocean and a deep appreciation for different cultures. With a background in Business Management and extensive hospitality experience—from surf instruction in Galicia to front-of-house service in Australia—Maria thrives in guest-facing roles where her positive energy and adaptability shine.
Since entering the yachting world in 2025, Maria has embraced the fast-paced charter environment in French Polynesia. Known for her dedication to detail and guest comfort, she ensures smooth service and a welcoming atmosphere onboard. Outside of work, Maria is an avid bodyboarder and volleyball enthusiast, always seeking ways to stay active and connected to the sea.

Jaime grew up in Spain and has built a diverse and hands-on career within the maritime world. He has a solid background in marine engineering, ship architecture, and marine transport, combining technical expertise with a deep-rooted love for sailing. Over the years, he has held varied roles from project manager in renowned shipyards to mate, engineer, and even solo skipper on both classic and modern yachts.
Since 2015, Jaime has sailed extensively across the Atlantic and Mediterranean, gaining invaluable experience in deck and engine maintenance, refits, charter operations, and watchkeeping in all conditions. His calm, capable presence makes him a reliable team member, and his approachable nature ensures smooth interactions with guests and crew alike. An avid watersports enthusiast, Jaime enjoys surfing, windsurfing, diving, and is always happy to share these passions with guests onboard.

Rafael, from Lanzarote, brings an enthusiastic and dedicated approach to his role as a deckhand. With a background in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, he's naturally active, disciplined, and a real team player. He’s currently completing his qualification as a Merchant Navy Offshore Skipper, and his previous yachting experience spans both private and charter vessels in the Mediterranean.
You will find him highly capable driving the tender, assisting on deck with the watch, and of course helping with the toys. He has a particular focus on e-foiling, wakeboarding, and paddleboarding, bringing enthusiasm and expertise from his previous work as both a sailing and surf instructor. Passionate about the sea and all adventure sports, he always brings energy and professionalism, and he always puts guests safety first.
Rafael Rodríguez Verástegui

Charly discovered his love for sailing at a very young age. Following his passion, he earned a degree in Nautical Sciences and Maritime Transport. Over the past seven years, he has taken part in well-known regattas and worked aboard various luxury yachts, including custom catamarans. During this time, Charly developed a strong background in yacht maintenance, mechanics, navigation, and guiding crew—skills that now serve him well as Captain of Crazy Love.
His experience includes completing over 70 charters, making multiple transatlantic crossings, and navigating through the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Asia. Charly’s personal interests range from kite surfing and wingfoiling, to travel, design, motorcycle restoration, drone filming, and photography. Friendly, capable, and committed to ensuring every guest feels at ease, he looks forward to sharing his knowledge and passion with you, making your charter a genuinely enjoyable and memorable experience.

Sergio, our highly skilled Engineer, was born and raised along the beautiful coast of Portugal. With a strong foundation in Naval Engineering and further specialization in the Merchant Marine, he brings years of experience in working with luxury yachts, particularly in vessel maintenance, deck operations, and onboard systems.
Sergio has always had a deep love for the ocean, which has led him to master a variety of water sports. He’s also an expert tender driver, ensuring smooth handling of water toys and activities throughout your stay. With his hands-on attitude and attention to detail, Sergio is always looking for ways to enhance your experience, making sure everything runs safely and smoothly. Known for his friendly smile and outstanding customer service, he consistently goes the extra mile to make each guest feel welcome and cared for.

Originally from Buenos Aires, Romina has spent nearly two decades between Barcelona and the Canary Islands, weaving together her love for hospitality, international cuisine, and the sea. With formal training from Escuela Gato Dumas and Aulas Gastronómicas Barcelona, she transitioned to yachting six years ago, bringing with her a culinary philosophy centred on balanced, flavourful dishes inspired by global cultures.
She is known for catering to complex dietary preferences with ease and creativity, and for delighting guests with a mix of comfort dishes and elevated tasting menus. Her warm personality and flair for healthy, varied menus make her a favourite among guests and crew alike. In addition to galley duties, Romina also supports sailing manoeuvres and interior upkeep. When off duty, she enjoys sailing, photography, and outdoor sports like snorkelling, canoeing, CrossFit, and yoga.
