Rosemary grew up in a seaside town near Dublin, Ireland, where sailing has always been a central part of her life, coming from a large family of sailors. She learned to sail at just five years old and raced all kinds of boats throughout her youth. Rosemary attended university in Dublin, studying biomedical science, followed by a master’s degree in pharmaceuticals. Although she loved academia, she felt drawn to her passion for the water and decided to bring her sailing skills to the crew.
While studying, Rosemary worked in bars and developed a knack for crafting creative cocktails. She’s outgoing, loves meeting new people, and takes joy in making new friends.

Originally from Cape Town, the "Tavern of the Seas", John grew up in and around the water—whether fishing, surfing, or diving. A natural water baby, he began his yachting career as a dive instructor in the Seychelles, quickly becoming hooked on life at sea. After gaining experience aboard century-old schooners, he progressed from deckhand and diver to captain, working across a variety of sailing yachts and developing a keen interest in engineering along the way. Owing to the remote locations of many of the vessels he’s worked on—and a year spent ashore handling maintenance at shipyards in Greece—John brings an inventive, solution-focused approach to every task. With over a decade of experience and an ambitious eye on the horizon, he’s always found with a smile and a positive attitude towards both life and sailing.
