Ted, raised on the South-east coast of England, has been deeply immersed in sailing from an early age. A former member of the Great British Sailing Team, Ted boasts a wealth of experience competing in various national and international regattas. Before transitioning to yachting, he spent four years in finance in the city of London. Currently, Ted is focused on completing his officer modules as he endeavours to ascend the ranks and fulfil his goal of becoming an officer within the yachting industry.

Tristan grew up in Plettenberg Bay, South Africa. Growing up he was surround by his parent’s passion for scuba diving as they had their own dive company which influenced Tristans love of the ocean. He started diving and driving the dive boats furthering his adventures. This pushed him to learn how to surf, wakeboard and kitesurf becoming a great water sportsman. He also enjoys a good game of golf and taking any opportunity, he can find to hike up a mountain.

Born and raised in Northern Ireland Ciaran started working on board CYAN as a deckhand in 2016 and is now qualified as an engineer and has been promoted to 2nd Engineer. When not on bard CYAN, Ciaran is back home with his fiancée in Northern Ireland where they are building a house and life together.

Luke hails from the South Coast of the UK but has also lived in numerous countries across Europe. He recently became a proud new dad to his little girl Arya. He is now certified with his Officer of the Watch 3000 and will soon have his Chief Mates ticket. Luke’s other loves in life are just about anything that he can do that includes water - frozen or liquid. If life on a super yacht wasn’t busy enough, Luke also runs a creative studio in Brighton with his brother. Fitness is core to Luke’s day and as a qualified PT he keeps the rest of the crew on board in shape.

Arno grew up in Jongensfontein, Cape Town and is an extreme sports enthusiast. He loves mountaineering, having summited the highest peak on four continents and with the goal of completing all seven. He also enjoys skydiving having over 100 skydive jumps.

Andrea grew up in South Africa and enjoyed competitive sport such as swimming and golf. Since joining the industry in 2010, he has worked on some prestigious yachts ranging from 37m through to 74m. He now has a family based in Europe and enjoys freediving, fishing and being captain on CYAN.

Jennifer comes from the bustling city of Johannesburg in South Africa where she studied Biomedical Science. Although far from the ocean, Jennifer developed a genuine love for being on the water thanks to spending almost every weekend down by the river with her family. It was her sense of adventure, that led her to travel to Europe to join the yachting industry. Jennifer is a real people pleaser and is always looking out for others. In her free time, she enjoys playing any type of sport, painting and playing the piano.

Justin grew up in Melbourne. He earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on renewable energies. He spent three years on the Great Barrier Reef and loves the work and diverse lifestyle that yachting offered. When not on board CYAN, he can be found in Palma with his wife and child. In his spare time, he enjoys listening to podcasts about historic revolutions. He also has a strange appreciation for finding holes in large rock structures!

Filipe culinary trained in Cannes, France in 1997. He has been working in France, England, Portugal, Australia and Japan getting a variety of culinary experience over the years. He was living in Japan from 2008 until 2020. He especially loves making Asian food. Since 2016 he has been working in the yachting industry and loves it. At home in Portugal, he spends time with his family, including his two young children.
