Chris Thompson, fondly known as 'Tomo' has extensive experience across private households, luxury yachts and restaurants and worked internationally with high-profile clients, including royalty, VIPs, celebrities and prominent individuals.

His diverse repertoire spans Asian, Pacific Rim, Modern Australian and European fusion cuisine, showcasing creativity and innovation. With exceptionally high standards in food production, presentation, taste and nutrition, Chris tailors menus to individual dietary needs. Adaptable and detail-oriented, he delivers refined culinary experiences in any setting and is currently available for temporary private or similar chef opportunities. He brings professionalism and calm efficiency to every galley environment daily.

Chloe is 28 years old and from land locked Cheshire. Having worked onboard DARLIN for 4 years, in yachting for a total of 8 years, she has enjoyed the fast-paced life of busy charter yachts. Gathering a vast set of skills from working on high profile yachts including MALTESE FALCON, S/Y A and the classic 3 masted schooner SHENANDOAH OF SARK.

Chloe has obtained her Chief Mate 3000GT CoC and is working towards her Masters, which she hopes to complete in 2026.

She enjoys water sports and is always keen to teach the guests. Off the water she loves animals and is what you would call a foodie! She’s very happy to share her knowledge of local spots from the best dive sites to yummiest lobster shacks.

Julia Lundblad has been onboard DARLIN for 3 years and is from the scenic South of Sweden and was raised along the coast where she found her passion for sailing with family and friends. She joined Darlin in 2023 and now has these years of experience delivering high end quality charters for her guests.

Known for her kindness, joyfulness, and a service orientated mindset, Julia is a happy and dedicated member of our team. Her commitment to excellence ensures that every aspect of her work contributes to a seamless and delightful experience for all on board. In her free time Julia likes running, tennis and is the Darlin crew Paddle champion!

Chris has been onboard DARLIN for 5 years and is a Superyacht professional with over 15 years’ experience within the yachting industry.

Chris started sailing at 7 years old racing dinghies & progressed through to competitive Yacht racing. He is a qualified sail maker & has an impressive CV, running race boats through to command of large commercial sailing yachts such as MALTESE FALCON.

Chris is an active Captain who leads by example to ensure a perfectly maintained boat, which is ready to provide the highest standard of service. He holds a Master 3000 GT license and works hard to ensure the guests always have a memorable experience aboard. Chris goes the extra mile for charter guests to experience the very best the yacht has to offer, appealing to many sailing enthusiasts. He is just as active in his spare time as he is on duty, he enjoys motorcycling, skiing and kitesurfing.

Charles “Charlie” Tivers brings a solid blend of yachting and shoreside technical experience.

Previously serving as Sole Engineer onboard the 37m Perini Navi NORFOLK STAR, he managed all engineering operations, including maintenance, refits, and major survey works. His expertise spans main engines, generators, hydraulics, electrical systems, and auxiliary equipment, alongside contractor coordination and planned maintenance.

Charlie also worked as a Flotilla Engineer in Greece, he supported a fleet of sailing yachts with hands-on fault finding and repairs. Before entering yachting, Charlie spent eight years as a Gas Engineer with British Gas in the UK, specialising in installation, servicing, and fault- finding of gas and electrical systems. He holds marine electrical qualifications (MET Marine Electrical Technician) and is currently working toward his SV EOOW, and is a keen sailor who has sailed dinghies from a young age.

Charlie is a capable, methodical and reliable engineer.

Born just outside London, England, Harry and grew up embracing an active, outdoor lifestyle, spending weekends windsurfing and kayaking on a local lake. After completing school, he worked as a tree surgeon for three years before following his true passion for life on the water and joining the yachting industry in 2018. Since then, Harry has gained experience on several prestigious yachts, including KAOS, SECRET, and ASAHI. His time at sea has equipped him with a broad range of nautical knowledge and hands-on skills, making him a highly capable and well-rounded officer and chase boat Captain. He as been onboard DARLIN for 2 seasons. Off duty, Harry is always chasing his next adventure—whether it's kitesurfing in tropical waters or carving down snowy mountain slopes.
