Michel was born and grew up in Brittany. He has a lifelong passion for the ocean and has sailed around the world before entering the superyacht industry over 33 years ago. Since then, he has sailed on both private and charter yachts, in the North and South Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans, the Mediterranean, and the Caribbean. Michel joined Drumbeat in 2009 and looks after her as a passionate sailor man and can't wait to welcome guests on board.

Isobel's extensive background includes a full season as a sole/deck stewardess on a 22-meter yacht, alongside several years of dedicated service in the hospitality industry. She became a part of the Drumbeat crew in St. Maarten in April 2025.

Ivan was born in Rijeka. After finishing Bakar Maritime school, he spent 10 years working on board commercial tankers. Ivan’s extensive experience brought him on board this beautiful 53m Alloy sailing yacht as chief engineer. When off rotation he loves spending time in the countryside of Croatia, cycling and motorbiking. Ivan also enjoys family life and spending time with his wife and 3 children.

From an early age, Eloise cultivated a passion for the ocean, frequently visiting her grandparents in Plymouth and spending time on their sailing boat. After honing her skills in hospitality as a waitress and bartender, she successfully entered the yachting industry in 2024, becoming a part of the Drumbeat crew in April 2025. Off duty, Eloise enjoys running, hiking, and was a long-standing member of a hockey team during her upbringing.

Chris is a dedicated and professionally trained chef from the Institute of Culinary Arts, with experience in high-end kitchens. His time with the media team at Babylonstoren in 2024, during an internship, further strengthened his skills in recipe development. After gaining land-based experience as a chef de partie and private chef since 2024, he joined Drumbeat for his first position in the yachting industry. In his spare time, Chris enjoys surfing, photography, and playing the drums.

Jamie, who grew up on the South Coast, chose the Cadetship program as his pathway into the superyachting industry, successfully completing it in February 2025. He became a valuable part of the Drumbeat team as a deckhand in April 2025. Outside of his duties, Jamie is a keen snowboarder and loves all watersports, along with climbing and hiking.

Regine joined the yachting industry 10 years ago after a change of career: she used to work in marketing communication for a French company. From this, she has obtained skills in public relations, communication, and management. Regine lives in Brittany, France and shares her life with Captain Michel. In her spare time she enjoys cycling, swimming and reading.

Originally from Johannesburg, Martin wasted no time in pursuing his passion for the sea, diving into sailing right after school. At just 20 years old, his resume boasts extensive sailing along the South African coast and two successful Atlantic crossings. Martin brought his skills to Drumbeat six months ago, following a short but valuable time on a motor yacht. When not on deck, he's an avid rock climber, freediver, and enthusiastic participant in all forms of ocean sports.

After a year working as an RNLI beach lifeguard in Bridlington, UK, Harvey joined the yachting industry in May 2025, gaining experience as a deckhand on various yachts. Following his Yachtmaster training in February 2025, he developed strong skills as a tender driver, which led him to join Drumbeat in June 2025. In his spare time, Harvey enjoys scuba diving, skiing, watersports, and playing cricket.

Ludovico has a solid knowledge in both sail and motor yachts working between and around Chesapeake, Florida, Mediterranean and North Atlantic. After finishing his Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, he joined the yachting industry back in 2019 in USA, working both on deck and as engineer. Ludovico speaks multiple languages and enjoys windsurfing, surfing and tennis.
