David brings a decade of culinary expertise to EL REY, shaped by his roots in Baja California. His background includes leading numerous culinary projects and consultancies across Mexico, where he refined his skills in flavor-forward cooking and hospitality. David’s approach to cuisine is bold and diverse, with specialties in Mediterranean fusion, seafood, Asian, French, and of course, traditional Mexican dishes. His attention to detail, high-quality ingredients, and masterful use of the grill form the foundation of his culinary style. David has also had the opportunity to work alongside world-renowned chefs—experiences that have deeply influenced his creative process and broadened his culinary vision. Constantly inspired by global flavors and cultural connections, David strives to craft meals that both surprise and satisfy.

Adian’s yachting experience has brought him over 9,000 nautical miles across European and American waters. With several years as the sole engineer on a 32-meter expedition yacht, he is well-versed in engine room watchkeeping, maintenance of diesel engines and generators, water and fueling systems. Adian has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering and holds numerous certifications including a Powerboat and Jet Ski. His skills expand to research and development, project management and cost analysis. When he’s not dedicating himself to advancing his career, Adian enjoys golf, racing and traveling to exotic places. Ensuring the safety of guests is his number one priority and having him on our team allows for everyone to relax and enjoy their time on the water. We’re excited to have Adian on board!

Born and raised in San Diego, Doug’s extensive experience as a captain for private owners, yacht deliveries and commercial passenger fishing vessels makes him a versatile and valuable member of the El Rey crew. As a master diver with over 1,000 dives under his belt (including rescues), Doug prides himself on his expertise in maintenance, safety and excellent customer service skills. He holds various qualifications including a USCG 200 Tons license and has operated boats on the West Coast, Pacific Side of Baja, Sea of Cortez, Mexico, Panama and New Zealand. Doug is not only a leader within his professional career but is a team leader in Diving for a Cause, a charitable spearfishing organization. When he’s not diving or preparing cruising itineraries, he enjoys hiking and fly fishing. We’re excited for Doug to bring his passion for exceeding the needs of his guests on this voyage with us.

Alexis Graham, born in Conway, SC, is a dedicated Deckhand currently navigating the seas in the yachting industry. Alexis's journey into yachting began after graduating from Coastal Carolina University with a Bachelor's in Entrepreneurial Management and a minor in International Business. Relocating to Fort Lauderdale, FL, Alexis kickstarted her yachting career on a sightseeing/charter boat in Delray Beach, FL, before venturing into private yachts. Alexis thrives on the water, relishing the opportunity to help guests connect with their surroundings. Beyond yachting, Alexis indulges in reading, puzzles, and video games during leisure time. A seasoned problem-solver with over two years of retail experience, Alexis values the lessons learned in hospitality and effective communication. One of the most cherished moments on a yacht was snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters of the Bahamian coral reefs. Aside from maritime skills, Alexis harbors a secret talent for baking.

A San Diego native, Chloe’s strong background in hospitality and passion for yachting makes her a valuable addition to the service crew. Not only does she have a background in private charters, but she also has experience in commercial passenger vessel and dinner cruise charters. Chloe’s well-rounded skillset includes cooking, bartending and connecting with children, especially coming from a large family of nine herself! Her first aid, CPR Certification and basic firefighting knowledge speak to her strong commitment to guests’ safety. In her time on land away from work, Chloe loves karaoke, roller skating, going out fishing and cooking up what she catches.
