Originally from Ecuador, he moved to Spain at the age of 8 and began his professional life as a lifeguard on the Costa Blanca’s beaches of San Juan. His deep sense of care for others, combined with a passion for the sea, naturally led him into the yachting world.
As First Officer, Paul acts as the captain’s right hand, playing a key role in ensuring the safety and smooth operation of each charter. He brings a wealth of experience, a calm and reliable presence, and a genuine enthusiasm for creating unforgettable guest experiences.

Jaime is an experienced and highly dedicated Chief Engineer from Alicante, Spain. Born and raised by the sea, his fascination with engines began at a young age—dismantling small motors for fun—before eventually combining his two greatest passions: mechanics and the ocean. His deep-rooted curiosity and hands-on nature have shaped his career, leading him to pursue an exciting life in the maritime world. He joined Elena Nueve in 2023 and quickly became an essential part of the crew. With previous experience on both sailing and motor yachts in private and charter roles, Jaime brings a wealth of practical knowledge and problem-solving expertise. One of his most memorable experiences remains sailing under wind power alone, surrounded by dolphins—an unforgettable reminder of the beauty of life at sea. When not on board, Jaime is a motorcycle enthusiast, an avid reader of historical literature—particularly works by his favorite author, Valerio Massimo Manfredi—and a devoted traveler who loves exploring new cultures. Originally from Madrid, she spent part of her youth in Switzerland and later moved to Paris, where she studied Theatre at La Sorbonne University. Her international background and love of the arts have shaped her into a confident, attentive, and imaginative host.
Though she didn’t grow up around boats, Paula has always had a strong connection to the sea, often spending family holidays by the coast. Encouraged by a close family friend in the yachting world, she decided to turn her passion for travel, service, and detail into a career. She’s since gained experience on both charter and private yachts and quickly found her place in the industry.
Guests appreciate Paula’s positive energy and calm efficiency. Whether she’s planning last-minute onboard experiences or adding thoughtful details to a dinner setup, her aim is always to create a relaxed, welcoming environment with a touch of flair.

Before joining the yacht Elena Nueve in April 2023, Lidia worked as a nanny, where she discovered her natural gift for connecting with children. This experience enhanced her ability to cater to the needs of all guests, from the youngest to the oldest. Lidia has refined her skills in maintaining pristine interiors and anticipating guest needs with care and efficiency. Known for her organizational skills and positive attitude, she works seamlessly within a team to ensure everything runs smoothly. She joined the yachting industry after the pandemic and quickly fell in love with the lifestyle, combining traveling and excellence in service. Having previously spent three seasons on bord Elena Nueve, she returned in 2025 with even more enthusiasm and a refined approach to her role. Victoria will be the go-to crew member for English-speaking guests—handling their needs and preferences both before and during the charter with care, communication, and professionalism. Known for her creativity, Victoria excels at organizing events, themed decorations, and engaging activities for guests of all ages. She also has a strong background in acrobatics, including straps and vertical dance, and is currently studying to become an event organiser. Off duty, she loves anything related to water—swimming, exercising, and enjoying time in nature.
