Originally from Colombia, Andres moved to Spain at the age of 15. Shortly after completing his studies, he began working as a junior deckhand and pursued his captain’s qualifications while gaining hands-on experience at sea. His journey is a true testament to hard work and dedication—rising through every role on board Elena Nueve to eventually take command as Captain.
Andres leads with both technical expertise and a calm, guest-focused approach. Jaime is an experienced and highly dedicated Chief Engineer from Alicante, Spain. Born and raised by the sea, his fascination with engines began at a young age—dismantling small motors for fun—before eventually combining his two greatest passions: mechanics and the ocean. His deep-rooted curiosity and hands-on nature have shaped his career, leading him to pursue an exciting life in the maritime world. He joined Elena Nueve in 2023 and quickly became an essential part of the crew. With previous experience on both sailing and motor yachts in private and charter roles, Jaime brings a wealth of practical knowledge and problem-solving expertise. One of his most memorable experiences remains sailing under wind power alone, surrounded by dolphins—an unforgettable reminder of the beauty of life at sea. When not on board, Jaime is a motorcycle enthusiast, an avid reader of historical literature—particularly works by his favorite author, Valerio Massimo Manfredi—and a devoted traveler who loves exploring new cultures. Hardworking, family-oriented, and deeply responsible, Jaime brings both professionalism and passion to his role, ensuring that charter guests enjoy a smooth, safe, and worry-free experience aboard Elena Nueve.

Steven is a highly skilled and passionate chef whose dedication to his craft is evident in every dish he prepares. Originally from Ecuador, he began his culinary journey at the age of 17, enrolling in an advanced professional training program that laid the foundation for a successful and fulfilling career in gastronomy.
His cooking style is creative, refined, and deeply rooted in quality ingredients and global influences. Over the years, Steven has developed a talent for crafting menus that are tailored to each charter guest’s preferences, offering a perfect balance between elegance and comfort. Whether it’s a beautifully plated tasting menu, a vibrant Mediterranean lunch, or a relaxed family-style dinner, Steven brings flair and precision to every meal.
Since entering the yachting industry in 2014, he has mastered the art of working in compact galleys without compromising on quality or presentation. Guests particularly enjoy his warm, approachable personality and the personal touch he brings when introducing each dish—transforming every meal into an experience.
Since joining Elena Nueve on June 2025, Steven has quickly become a valued member of the crew. His attention to detail, calm demeanor, and passion for culinary excellence make him an integral part of the onboard experience.

Melissa is an enthusiastic and adaptable Italian stewardess preparing to begin her yachting career on board Elena Nueve, joining in May 2026. With a Diploma in Advertising Graphics and a diverse professional background, she brings creativity, strong communication skills, and a service-oriented mindset to the industry.
Melissa has gained valuable experience working as a barista, waitress, photographer, and catamaran excursion guide, where she assisted guests and delivered engaging experiences at sea. Her international outlook has been shaped by volunteering in Kenya, India, and across Europe, as well as living independently in Spain for the past three years.
Although new to yachting, Melissa has developed excellent transferable skills through hospitality and guest service roles, including working under pressure, managing responsibilities independently, and adapting quickly to dynamic environments.
Fluent in Italian and Spanish, with upper-intermediate English and basic French, Melissa communicates confidently with an international clientele. Organised, responsible, and proactive, she thrives in fast-paced settings.In her free time, she enjoys snorkelling, creative arts, music, and travel, reflecting her energetic and well-rounded personality.

Lidia is a passionate and dedicated stewardess from Spain, with a strong focus on housekeeping and guest services. Inspired by her family’s maritime background and a love for travel, she entered the yachting industry at the age of 19. Having lived in the Philippines for several months, Lidia developed a deep appreciation for different cultures and experiences, which fuels her desire to deliver exceptional service to charter guests. Before joining the yacht Elena Nuevein April 2023, Lidia worked as a nanny, where she discovered her natural gift for connecting with children. This experience enhanced her ability to cater to the needs of all guests, from the youngest to the oldest.
Lidia has refined her skills in maintaining pristine interiors and anticipating guest needs with care and efficiency. Known for her organizational skills and positive attitude, she works seamlessly within a team to ensure everything runs smoothly. When not on board, Lidia is deeply passionate about photography, sports, and fitness. She enjoys horse riding and has a particular interest in health and nutrition. This summer, Lidia will continue to bring her passion for hospitality, her experience with children, and her commitment to service, ensuring an unforgettable charter experience for all guests on board Elena Nueve

Victoria brings energy, creativity, and a warm personality to the deck/stew role on board Elena Nueve. Originally from Montevideo, Uruguay, and now based in Spain, she blends South American passion with Mediterranean charm. With a background in chemistry and years of hospitality experience, she has a natural flair for service and a strong attention to detail. She joined the yachting industry after the pandemic and quickly fell in love with the lifestyle, combining traveling and excellence in service. Having previously spent three seasons on bord Elena Nueve, she returned in 2025 with even more enthusiasm and a refined approach to her role.
Victoria will be the go-to crew member for English-speaking guests handling their needs and preferences both before and during the charter with care, communication, and professionalism. Known for her creativity, Victoria excels at organizing events, themed decorations, and engaging activities for guests of all ages. She also has a strong background in acrobatics, including straps and vertical dance, and is currently studying to become an event organiser. Off duty, she loves anything related to water swimming, exercising, and enjoying time in nature. Creative, friendly, and decisive, Victoria plays an essential role in ensuring that every charter aboard Elena Nueveis smooth, joyful, and memorable.

Cesar is a motivated and dynamic deckhand currently serving on board Elena Nueve, having joined in March 2026.
Holding both Mexican and Spanish nationality, he brings an energetic and adventurous spirit to the yachting industry.
Cesar moved to Spain at the age of nine, where he completed his education and later qualified as an airline crew member. His passion for travel led him to Denmark and Norway, where he first entered the maritime world, working with a shipyard company. There, he gained hands-on experience in vessel maintenance and navigation of medium-sized boats, forming a solid foundation for his yachting career.
Now in his first year on a large yacht, Cesar is driven by a strong desire to grow professionally. He is intense, adventurous, and detail-oriented, with a proactive mindset and natural ability to connect with people.
Fluent in Spanish and with intermediate English, he communicates well with crew and guests. Outside of work, he enjoys cars, skating, extreme sports, nature, animals, and music.
