Dean grew up in Cape Town, South Africa, where his parents nurtured a love for the outdoors and an active lifestyle in him and his brother. At just 8 years old, he joined the Clifton lifesaving club—a move that would spark a lifelong passion. Rising through the ranks to become senior captain, he remains a proud member to this day. His dedication to service extended to the National Sea Rescue Institute, where he volunteered for 10 years as a helicopter rescue swimmer, contributing to critical coastal rescue missions.
With a background in personal training, Dean took on the role of leading the Physical Education program at his former school and was later appointed Director of Sports, where he inspired a new generation to pursue fitness and discipline. In 2015, driven by a sense of adventure and encouraged by his brother, Dean embraced a new path in the yachting industry. What started as a ` leap of faith quickly became a fulfilling career—he worked his way up from deckhand to Chief Officer 3000gt. Grateful for the journey, Dean continues to thrive in a profession that challenges and rewards him in equal measure.

Michael grew up inspired by his father, a Merchant Navy Captain, and eventually charted his own path below deck. After a creative detour at Winchester School of Arts, he pursued engineering full-time, earning his Unlimited Engineer Officer of the Watch certificate from Warsash Maritime Academy.
Now entering his eighth year in yachting, Michael brings both commercial and private sector experience to the engine room. Outside of work, he enjoys training at the gym, sketching, and flying drones in exotic places. He lives in Thailand with his wife, their dog, and daughters, but holds fond memories of exploring Chile and Amsterdam.

Alex, from Canterbury, England joined the boat in September of 2021. He is a commercially license, unlimited engineer, having studied at Warsash Maritime Academy in the UK. Alex began his sea-going career working for Maersk, the the Danish shipping company on vessels 1200ft in length and with engines as large as 5 storey buildings.
He has now been in yachting for 6 years and will soon achieve his Chief Engineers ticket. His passion for craftmanship, luxury materials and tight tolerances means he enjoy motor vehicles, horology and high end designers.

Matthew brings over four years of experience within the yachting industry, underpinned by strong seamanship and a genuine passion for the ocean. He began his career sailing between Cape Town and the Seychelles, where he developed solid offshore experience and a confident, safety-focused approach on deck.
An avid diver with a natural enthusiasm for life at sea, Matthew is committed to delivering the highest standard of service and does so with a consistently positive attitude. Approachable, hardworking, and team-oriented, he is a valued presence on board. A fun personal note: his father is a two-time Guinness World Record holder for swimming.
Chef Michel is a self-described culinary perfectionist who holds himself to the highest standards of his craft. He began his career over 30 years ago in Normandy, France where he started as an apprentice learning the French culinary and pastry basics. He’s spent the majority of his career working in fine dining establishments such as Hotel de Paris, Monte Carlo and Grand Hyatt, Cayman Island but his highlight and most informative experience was to work under the supervision of renowned former “Best Chef of the Year”, Jean Delaveyne at The Procope in Paris.
Looking for adventure, Chef Michel joined S/Y Phocea which was the world's largest private sailing yacht at the time. Once again, shore based, Chef Michel served as personal chef to Her Majesty, Queen Rania of Jordan. Chef Michel also spent several years in New York as personal chef to songwriter Denise Rich before, again returning to the yachting industry where he’s remained since. Chef Michel is skilled in many cuisines including Italian, French, American, Asian, Arabic, Mexican and Caribbean.
He has an extensive repertoire of menus to oƯer ever changing mouthwatering menus. Chef Michel is a versatile chef who is equally comfortable preparing a romantic dinner for two, catering for charter groups or large parties.

Originally from Auckland, Daniel began his culinary journey in some of New Zealand’s top kitchens, including the acclaimed French Café. After training in London and meeting his wife, he transitioned into yachting, inspired by a love for travel and adventure.
Years spent in the Mediterranean and beyond—Southeast Asia, Central America, and the Pacific—have deeply influenced his global culinary style. Passionate about fresh ingredients and creative cooking, Daniel constantly evolves his menus with bold, inspired flavors.
When off the yacht, he enjoys exploring new restaurants, and spending time with his wife and two – soon to be three - daughters between their homes in Italy and New Zealand.

Joe grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa. He was active throughout his childhood, participating in multiple sports such as rugby, ice- hockey and swimming. Joe spent 10 years working in the private security sector, during this time he added Basic Life Support paramedic to his skill set.
He then joined the yachting industry 4 years ago and is chasing his goal of becoming a Chief Officer. Joe has his Yacht Master Offshore Commercially Endorsed CoC, several OOW Modules and is working towards his OOW 3000.
His hobbies include mixed martial arts, driving fast cars/bikes and watersports.

Born and raised on his parents’ sailboat on the French Caribbean Island of Saint Martin, Luke's aƯinity for the ocean was instilled from a young age. As a native of a superyacht Aub in the Caribbean, Luke's exposure to the industry began early, fostering a passion for sailboat racing and delivering sailboats in between his studies. Since joining the super-yacht world in 2010, Luke has worked tirelessly to achieve his Master's License, earning the opportunity to captain prominent charter super yachts like Motor Yacht Highlander and Motor Yacht Mischief. Luke's leadership style emphasizes a positive, fun, and team-oriented environment among his crew, ensuring exceptional service and unforgettable experiences for his guests In his free time, Luke enjoys an array of outdoor pursuits including free diving, drone operation, kitesurfing, spearfishing, golf, building houses and being a father.

Alexandra comes from the beautiful South African mother city of Cape Town. After leaving school, “Alex” pursued a natural path for something that she, herself, enjoyed growing up in a family of women, beauty therapy.
After graduating Somatology school and with an appetite for travel, Alex set oƯ to take her trade to the sea. And so began her cruise ship career which took her to places far and wide. After several years aboard ships, a fateful meeting, as is so often the case, had Alex cross paths with a charter yacht captain. As fate would have it, Alex was looking for a change and the charter captain was in need of therapist for an upcoming charter. As quick as that, Alex accepted the temporary position which quickly turned into a permanent change to the yachting industry.
Alex’s own interest in all things fine an elegant means that she is in good company alongside her teammates in the luxury yachting industry. Alex has served as a Stewardess and Beauty Therapist on some of the worlds most iconic charter yachts including the 90-meter modern classic yacht Nero.

As a life-long water enthusiast, Garner grew up surfing, bodyboarding, and wakeboarding. He competed in provincial bodyboarding competitions during high school and later studied horticultural science at university.
After university, he worked as a watersport’s instructor and boat driver at summer camps in Michigan, where he also restored and sailed a small, abandoned sailboat on Lake Michigan. Now pursuing a career in yachting, he aims to combine his passion for the water with hands-on experience in the industry.
