With a solid maritime background and previous work as a ship carpenter for Decon France Greece, he brings exceptional skills in maintenance, repairs, and teak work.
His time aboard M/Y Tacanuyaso (60m) and currently M/Y Peftasteri (38m) has sharpened his abilities in deck operations, water toys management, mooring, and guest interaction. Reliable and hardworking, Panagiotis takes pride in maintaining an immaculate exterior while ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for guests.
Fluent in Greek and English, and holding a full set of valid maritime certifications—including a diving licence—Panagiotis is always eager to assist and contribute to a positive team environment. His strengths lie in his team spirit, his ability to thrive under pressure, and adept problem-solving skills, ensuring seamless operations in the galley and beyond. Captain Manos, born in 1983 in Athens, has had a strong bond with the sea since childhood. He graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos in 2008, obtaining his Captain’s Class A Certificate. His maritime journey began in 2003, where he served on various tanker vessels, gaining invaluable experience navigating both Greek and international waters and managing complex maritime operations. In 2014, Captain Manos transitioned to the yachting industry, where his passion for hospitality, adventure, and delivering exceptional guest experiences truly thrived. Having worked on motor yachts up to 58 meters, he has cultivated an extensive knowledge of the Greek islands, enabling him to craft personalized itineraries that highlight the hidden gems and most stunning destinations in the Aegean and beyond.
With a calm and professional approach, Captain Manos prioritizes guest safety, comfort, and enjoyment, ensuring every voyage is smooth, relaxing, and unforgettable. He graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy, earning a 3rd Engineer Diploma. Throughout his career, he has worked as a solo engineer on private luxury motor yachts and as a 2nd/3rd Engineer on marine passenger vessels, ensuring smooth operations, engine maintenance, and effective coordination of technical teams. Vasilis is committed to maintaining optimal performance on board, managing technical operations, troubleshooting, and repairs with precision. His strong leadership abilities and problem-solving approach enable him to tackle complex technical issues, ensuring a safe and seamless cruising experience for guests. His passion for marine engineering, along with his focus on efficiency and innovation, makes him an indispensable member of the M/Y Elysium crew.
