Holly was born in West Sussex, United Kingdom. She graduated school and studied Travel and Tourism and Business Management at Chichester College. From there, she worked at her local pub as well as working at Goodwood Private House, helping out with events. A family friend introduced her into the industry of yachting and she has now been working on yachts for over five years. Holly loves traveling and exploring new things, in 2019 she traveled around Australia with her sister to see family, and then continued onto New Zealand where they rented a van and camped around the North and South island. She's also been to places like Costa Rica, where she completed her PADI Open Water certification. Holly completed her WSET course last year after having a great interest in wine.

She attended William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri where she graduated with a BS in Biology and concentration in Pre-Medicine, with the intent of pursuing a career as a dentist. Post-graduation, she decided to hold off on applying to dental school to try new things and travel. She worked locally for a few years in just a little bit of everything from teaching, construction, the service industry, childcare, and property management before she then pursued seasonal work in hospitality at Deer Valley Ski Resort in Utah. Loving the idea of traveling for work and connecting with people from all over the globe, she found the yachting industry. In her free time, she enjoys reading, researching, baking, and trying just about every outdoor activity.

Growing up on the south coast of the UK, Nic has always had a passion for being either in or on the water. From sea fishing with his father from a young age or exploring the many inlets of the local harbor on his not so seaworthy kayak! Nic also enjoys spending time under the water and loves diving at any opportunity that arises. Nic met his wife on his first yacht, and were lucky enough to work together within the industry for 10 years, exploring some incredible countries. Together they have two beautiful daughters and are based in the historic city of Winchester in the U.K.

Before joining the yachting industry, he worked as a chef, which taught him to work effectively in high-stress environments, as well as growing to be an inspirational leader. These experiences have bene invaluable for his transition into the yachting industry, whereby he has worked on a 50m charter yacht. Here, he learned the fundamentals of being a deckhand, from thorough washdowns to handling lines.

He also loves fishing and construction – two skills that he brings fondly into the yachting industry.

This taught him a strong sense of discipline, focus and teamwork – all imperative to yachting.
Carl’s favourite thing about the yachting industry is the different people he gets to meet during charters. He loves to organise activities, especially teaching guests how to use the water toys.

He steadily continued his climb up the yachting ladder by serving as deck crew and mate on various yachts, eventually earning his 1600 Ton Oceans Master license. He has been with the EXCELLENCE programme since 1989, playing a major role in the building of EXCELLENCE II, III, IV, V and now the most recent EXCELLENCE! Yachting has taken him to many parts of the world with extensive time spent in the Mediterranean, New England and the Caribbean. The immense knowledge and experience gained through these travels enables Ray to offer an array of possible itineraries as well as a pleasurable cruise. Ray is also a family man, with wife Maria, and their four wonderful children based in Ft Lauderdale, Florida.

He enjoys all sports above and below the water and will happily teach or accompany guests on any of EXCELLENCE’s available water toys. Fraser has sailed extensively in the Mediterranean, Caribbean and East coast of the USA and has seen most places on and off the beaten track in these areas. He still lives in Zimbabwe and when not at sea he can be found in the bush admiring the African wildlife.

She heard about yachting through a close friend and has been loving her time in this industry ever since joining. In her spare time Gabby enjoys reading, travel and new cultures with a keen interest in photography and yoga.
