Ilanda was born and raised in South Africa. After completing her Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, she worked in corporate life before following her adventurous spirit and love for the ocean to join the hospitality and yachting industry in 2017. Ilanda worked as a deckhand on MY Vega, part of an all-female crew, and progressed to Bosun on MY Amica Mea, allowing her to travel and grow in her career. In her free time, Ilanda enjoys being outdoors - on mountains, in the ocean, or in the bush. She's also passionate about working out and doing yoga.

Arnold brings over 16 years of marine mechanical engineering experience, including a decade as a chief engineer in the merchant marine industry. For the past 5 years, he's found his passion in the yachting sector, reveling in the daily adventures it offers. With a profound understanding of maritime safety and vessel operation, Arnold thrives in teamwork and considers his colleagues as family. Every day onboard is a new adventure for him.

Nakita who is from Durban, South Africa, embarked on a maritime career straight out of school, fueled by her passion for the ocean and scuba diving, she chose a life at sea and travelled the entire coastline of Italy, west to east and back again, across the Atlantic, to Bahamas, USVI’s and BVI’s. Her love for Latin and Ballroom dancing and appreciation for art and culinary experiences enrich her life onboard. Nakita's zest for exploration and connection with nature infuses each yachting experience with joy and adventure.

Captain Manny, hailing from Chile, boasts over three decades of professional maritime expertise. His journey began as a commercial diver before transitioning to a dive instructor in the Caribbean, Red Sea, and Mediterranean. With a seamless shift into yachting in the early 2000s, Manny ascended to the helm, navigating the waters of the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Baltic, and Persian Gulf, tallying over 10 Atlantic crossings and two Panama Canal transits. Holding an esteemed MCA Master 3000gt Captain License, alongside credentials as a Master Scuba Diver Trainer Instructor and Chilean Navy Commercial Diver, Captain Manny is multilingual, fluent in Spanish, English, and Italian. Beyond the sea, his passions include diving, free diving, horseback riding, and indulging in historical literature. Notable vessels graced by Capt. Manny's expertise include M/Y Cofina, M/V Aqua Cat, M/Y Déjà vu, and M/Y Escape, just to name a few.

Aidan is a dedicated deck engineer hailing from Johannesburg, South Africa. He is passionate about mechanical work and is committed to continuous learning and excellence in his field. Aidan maintains a respectful, professional, and understanding demeanor while onboard, ensuring a healthy working environment for all. He enjoys teaching others and providing advice, and his sociable personality allows him to easily connect with a wide variety of audiences. Outside of work, Aidan has interests in fitness, outdoor activities, marksmanship, and has a deep love for the ocean.

Thomas was born and raised amidst the azure waters of Grand Bahama, The Bahamas. Growing up he spent most of his time on the water, fishing, diving, kitesurfing or any activity that included being in the ocean. He has always had a passion for being on the water in any way possible. Right out of high school Thomas was submerged in the marine industry by becoming a commercial diver in search of lost treasures throughout the Bahamas. His interest in working on yachts grew over time as it enabled him to travel the world while still pursuing his dream of working on the water. In his free time, he can be found enjoying a relaxed afternoon of golfing, fishing or kiteboarding.
