Eddie has been a key part of Farfalla’s crew since 2015, overseeing everything from major ocean crossings to busy charter seasons and yard periods. His leadership style is hands-on and approachable, ensuring that every guest feels welcome, secure, and ready for adventure. Beth’s background includes management roles in high-end restaurants and hotels, as well as several years as Chief Stewardess on both private and charter yachts, where she consistently delivered service of the highest standard.

Beth is known for her can-do attitude, calm under pressure, and genuine passion for creating memorable moments for guests. Her expertise covers all aspects of interior service, housekeeping, laundry, and guest care, and she is highly skilled in wine service, mixology, and even massage therapy. With a lifelong passion for the outdoors and the sea, Neo Blackburn brings a wealth of hands-on experience and a calm, can-do attitude to the engineering department of S/Y Farfalla. Raised in a bush lodge environment surrounded by waterways, Neo’s early years were spent sailing dinghies, tinkering with motorboats, kayaking, and fishing—developing both a love for adventure and a practical, problem-solving mindset.

Neo has accumulated over 10,000 nautical miles, including challenging passages through the Mozambique Channel and along the South African coast, as well as two busy charter seasons in Madagascar. His background includes roles as 1st Mate on a 60ft schooner and maintenance manager at a boutique lodge, giving him a broad skill set in vessel maintenance, engine servicing, and guest support.

A quietly confident and competent team player, Neo is dedicated to ensuring the smooth running of all onboard systems, so guests can relax and enjoy their time at sea. Fluent in English and conversational in isiZulu, Neo’s friendly professionalism and technical expertise help create a safe, comfortable, and memorable experience for everyone aboard Farfalla.

Award winning Chef of more than 20 years, recently diversified into the yachting industry. Previously, I owned and ran my own business, and was awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand, which I held for 5 consecutive years, as well as featuring in the top 50 Gastro Pubs. During this time, I was praised by inspectors and guests alike, for my weekly changing menus and private events.
Throughout my successful career so far, I have worked under Mark Birchall, a 3 Michelin star Chef, Paul Leonard, a 1 Michelin star Chef, Conor Toomey, a 1 Michelin Star Chef and Ryan Murphy, a 2 Michelin Star Chef.
