Marcela is an enthusiastic and driven Deckhand/Stew who recently arrived in Florida to pursue new opportunities in the yachting industry. She began her career last summer aboard a 23m M/Y in the South of France, where she took on a Solo Stew/Deck/Cook role. Marcela brings hospitality experience as a waitress and housekeeper in South Africa, providing her with a strong foundation in service and a keen eye for detail. Additionally, her time as an Au Pair allowed her to develop valuable childcare skills, ensuring the safety and childcare while onboard.
With clear career goals and a structured progression plan, she moved swiftly to Florida after the Mediterranean season. Marcela is dedicated, adaptable, and ready to contribute her positive energy, strong interpersonal skills, and ambition to her new team. Outside of work, Marcela enjoys yoga, Pilates, water sports, and exploring new cultures, and she is almost fluent in French.

Gladwin Robinson Jr. brings over 15 years of diverse marine and electrical engineering experience to the team. With a strong foundation in both land-based and yacht systems, Gladwin is highly skilled in troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and managing complex electrical and mechanical operations. His background spans vessels up to 125 meters, including experience with MTU, Caterpillar, and diesel-electric propulsion systems. Gladwin is certified in STCW, AEC, HELM, High Voltage, and Yachtmaster Offshore, and is proficient with AMOS and advanced AV/IT and control systems.
He plays a key role in ensuring the vessel's systems run smoothly, safely, and efficiently, supporting both crew operations and guest experiences. Known for his calm demeanor and collaborative approach, Gladwin is a vital part of the engineering department, contributing daily to the smooth operation and reliability of the yacht, whether underway or during busy guest trips.
