Originally from Guildford, Surrey, Ben began his career with a love for adventure that led him to qualify as a ski instructor and work several seasons in Verbier.
After running his own car-sourcing and detailing business, and a period living in Hong Kong, he realised the corporate world wasn’t for him. He now lives in Mallorca with his fiancée and stays closely connected to his family and their two Golden Retrievers—who join him on his annual winter drive from England.
Ben discovered boating during an Offshore Sailing School trip, later strengthened by sailing with his uncle on the Isle of Wight. Entering the yachting industry in 2017, he has since gained broad experience on motor yachts from 28 to 93 metres, including roles as Mate on Blue Infinity, Lead Deckhand on Lady S, and Deckhand on Hampshire II.
Committed to professional growth, he holds his MCA OOW 3000GT and Master 500GT licences and has completed three Atlantic crossings. He is known for his enthusiasm, adaptability, and strong team ethos. Ben is also a licensed fixed-wing Private Pilot and plans to pursue a seaplane rating in Lake Como.
A dedicated sportsman, he enjoys swimming, cycling, and running. He has completed seven major marathons and recently finished the Mallorca 70.3 Ironman, Mallorca 312, and the UTMB Mallorca Ultra. He describes himself as outgoing, personal, and focused.

Chef James was born and raised in West London where he attended Emmanuel College in Wandsworth before his family relocated to Devon and the West Country in his early teenage years. His passion for food and cooking started at a young age with the beautiful South Hams of Devon offering the chance to work in a variety of restaurants where he started to hone his cheffing skills.
The added bonus of growing up near the beautiful Moors and South Coast meants James developed a passion for freshly sourced produce and of course plenty of fantastic seafoods. He later wanted to spread his wings and then focused his career on cooking in high end chalets for several years in French ski resorts including Tignes, Val d'Isère and Les Deux Alpes. James has now been cooking on superyachts for the past 9 years across a variety of motor and sailing yachts for both private families and busy charter programmes. In his spare time James likes to keep fit and enjoys his fishing, watersports, skiing and boxing. He is also a fluent French speaker, keen traveller and of course hugely passionate about excellent, healthy and varied cuisines.
When asked what he loves about cooking and the superyacht industry he says that 'the chance to cook different cuisines with the best produce sourced from new and exciting places for people in stunning locations is as good as it gets as a chef.'
