Born and raised on the South East coast of England, Sam enjoyed his later childhood years at boarding school in Ipswich. There, he spent most of his time on the rugby field, a passion which continued whilst he completed a degree in Business Management at the University of London. Sam nurtured his growing passion for sailing and travel by starting a career in the yachting industry on the East Coast of America in 2005. Having gained a wealth of experience cruising on the other side of the Atlantic, Sam returned to the Mediterranean where he founded Riviera Sea School, an RYA training center. But, missing the challenge of the ocean, he returned to yachting and now serves as a Master 500. Naturally calm and professional, Sam has the skills and confidence to deliver the most memorable voyages.
