About FOX
Recently delivered by renowned Pendennis shipyard in Falmouth, UK, FOX is a 34.9m (114.3ft) explorer yacht with an interior designed by Q London. Her steel hull and aluminium superstructure are constructed to RINA commercial classification and she was delivery in spring 2024. FOX is aptly named after one of Falmouth's most famous sons: Robert Were Fox the Younger. He was a 19th-century scientist who enabled exploration by inventing a compass that measured magnetic dip at sea in high latitudes, a compass that ultimately guided the expedition that discovered the South Pole. The associations between Fox, Falmouth and exploration are ones that resonate strongly in one of the very few genuine explorer yachts of this size. Her striking exterior design is muscular and practical, almost military, in appearance, and her beachhouse style interiors are bright and modern with an emphasis on comfort, versatility and safety. Key to her design is the 103.5sqm (1,114sqft) main deck aft, which enables her to carry a huge range of equipment, from watertoys and two 7.5m (24.6ft) tenders to amphibious vehicles and submersibles, launched by two 2.5T SWL deck cranes - carrying capacity usually unheard of in a yacht of this size. With the toys launched, the main deck aft has endless possibilities for relaxation and entertainment. The space includes a DJ station, open-air dining and bar with optional shade from awnings. A glasswalled family room or media sky lounge, with a wine cellar in the lobby, opens onto a 46sqm (495sqft) terrace with BBQ and open-air dining, as well as walkaround sidedecks that lead to lounge seating forward of the bridge.The yacht welcomes ten guests in five suites and is ready to charter!

Starting his career on commercial tankers, he gained a deep well of experience, facing tough conditions with determination and grit. Now, as a chief engineer on yachts, he brings that same dedication—along with a warm heart and a quick sense of humour. His English may not be perfect, but his smile, laughter, and honest effort speak louder than words ever could. He lovingly calls salmon "red fish" and has a sweet tradition of starting his mornings with chocolate and sweets—a small joy that reflects his ability to find light in the everyday. More than just a skilled engineer, he’s a kind soul, a hard worker, and someone whose presence makes life on board feel a little more like home.

Dario is passionate about staying ahead of the latest trends and by immersing himself in gastronomic literature whenever possible he ensures that he can creates dishes to suit all new tastes and preferences. Whilst his repertoire in the galley wins him constant praise and accolades; he remains grounded. We admire and see him live his life motto

Maddy grew up in Fox Lake, Illinois, where her experience as a waitress and managing bartender sharpened her hospitality skills, quick service under pressure, and love for creating warm, welcoming moments—ideal groundwork for yachting. With nearly three years in the industry, she’s advanced quickly on private motor yachts, mastering silver service, creative cocktail/mocktail mixology, flawless housekeeping, laundry, floral arrangements, inventory management, and event planning (themed dinners, parties, weddings, and high-profile gatherings).
Her bubbly personality shines through in anticipating guest needs—preparing a favorite post-dive mocktail, curating the perfect sundeck playlist, or refreshing cabins on the fly—while leading the interior team with strong communication, delegation, and positive energy to keep morale high and operations seamless.
Off duty, Maddy stays active with running, swimming, gym sessions, and long walks exploring new spots. She’s passionate about culinary adventures, discovering diverse cuisines while traveling, and shopping for unique finds. Her favorite place is the stunning Gold Coast of Australia—she’s visited many times and dreams of living there one day (she even named her hair-care line after it!).
