About FREEBIRD
For those that enjoy sailing in comfort and style, Freebird is the answer. Built in carbon composite and with advanced naval architecture by Farr Yacht Design, she offers fast and fun sailing without compromising on luxury and safety. The deck and interior arrangements from Nauta Yacht Design offer a high level of versatility and are focused on maximum efficiency and privacy for both the guests and crew.
On deck, she offers a comfortable center cockpit where guests can relax and enjoy meals under the bimini and out of the elements. The sprayhood and bimini with removable side panels plus a full beam awning aft of the mast allow flexible solutions for shading and protecting the guest areas. A sunbathing lounge is located aft of the cockpit on the bridgedeck and further aft, the steering cockpit where the yacht is controlled undersail.
The interior is centered around the main saloon that features a large seating area to port and 8-person dining table to starboard. The master and VIP cabins are located forward and the two twin cabins are located aft. Freebird accommodates up to eight guests in the four guest cabins, offering a high level of privacy and separation between the guest and crew areas.

- Freebird features a generously proportioned full beam saloon, a large open space where eight to ten people can relax and converse in comfort on couches and as many again can be seated at the dining table
- The separate aft crew cockpit is an ideal maneuvering space with independent and direct access to crew quarters without passing through the guest areas
- The aft swimming platform has easy access to the water and features a shower and handy storage for snorkeling gear
- The accommodation comprises two double twin cabins and a VIP cabin further forward. The owner’s suite is forward in the quietest area of the yacht and features a vanity desk, a couch for two and a spacious en suite bathroom with shower box
- The deck plan has been designed for easy sailing and comfort both for crew and guests

From a young age, Hannah has been captivated by the sea, gaining handson experience across a variety of sailing vessels—from 35ft cruising sailboats to 46m private superyachts—sailing in the Mediterranean and Adriatic Seas. She has completed offshore deliveries of up to 555nm and is actively developing her seamanship skills.
Hannah has worked in diverse roles on deck and in the interior, gaining experience in line handling, mooring, tender operations, crane work, deck maintenance, and guest service.
Her combination of technical expertise and natural hospitality ensures a seamless and enjoyable experience for all onboard.
Beyond yachting, Hannah has a strong background in property management, VIP hosting, and event coordination, and maintains her focus and energy through fitness, yoga, and meditation. Her easygoing nature, sense of humor, and collaborative spirit make her a reliable and supportive crew member.

Fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish, and basic French, he combines technical expertise with a professional, friendly, and guest-focused approach, ensuring smooth, enjoyable, and memorable charter experiences.
With a Yachtmaster Offshore certification and extensive training in STCW, AEC 2, PADI Rescue Diving, and IKO Kitesurf Instruction, Ricardo is skilled in navigation, engine and system maintenance, deck operations, tender driving, and all water sports activities. He excels at creating a welcoming environment on board while maintaining high technical standards and safety.
Passionate about sailing, kitesurfing, scuba diving, foiling, and outdoor adventure, Ricardo thrives in dynamic maritime environments and is committed to delivering exceptional charter experiences with a positive and attentive attitude.

Magaly is from Peru and she discovered her love for cooking at a young age. After moving to Europe in 2016, she learned about the yachting industry and has been hooked ever since. Starting out as a hostess on a variety of large motor yachts up to 80 metres, she moved to sailing yachts after meeting her husband, Capt. Richard. Together, as a captain/chef team, they spent two years managing a 21m sailing yacht for a demanding owner.
Magaly has gathered a wealth of knowledge and experience from while working alongside top chefs in prestigious restaurants and aboard yachts. To add to her experience, she has undertaken several high-level chef training courses in the UK, and Spain.
She enjoys exploring a range of cuisines, whether it is celebrating the simplicity and freshness of the local cuisine in or taking people on culinary journey. She is also a skilled barista and mixologist and will start the evening with canapés and her exceptional cocktails

Your Captain, Richard is from the United Kingdom and after completing his bachelor degree in International business, he started his yachting career that has taken him all around the world. After working on many prestigious yachts over the past ten years, Richard and his wife joined S/Y Freebird in 2022 and look forward to welcoming you onboard for a fabulous sailing holiday.
As Captain, Richard is responsible for navigation, safety and the overall management of the vessel and crew. He will be your host while onboard and leads a team that are dedicated to delivering a high level of service and satisfaction.
When not sailing, Richard is a keen road cyclist and lover of the outdoors. With a strong passion for traveling and exploring, he will be your guide to discover amazing new places and create lasting memories of a magnificent time aboard Freebird.
