Jéan is a dedicated and hardworking maritime professional from South Africa with extensive experience across deck and engineering operations. He has sailed over 24,000 NM, including two Atlantic crossings, and has participated in events such as the Caribbean600 and Southern Wind Regattas. His previous roles include Deckhand, Delivery Crew as Mate, and First Mate/Engineer on yachts ranging from 22m to 31m, with cruising experience in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Pacific, and Galapagos Islands. Jéan is skilled in navigation, watchkeeping, anchoring, sail repair, line splicing, tender operation, and general vessel maintenance. Currently, as First Mate and Engineer on S/Y G4ce, Jéan is responsible for deck operations, watchkeeping, navigation, anchoring, tender operations, and engineering duties. Known for his professional yet approachable manner, Jéan ensures safe and efficient operations while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere on board. When not on board, Jéan enjoys sailing, surfing, fishing, swimming, hiking, and diving. He is also passionate about photography, aerial photography, video editing, and wing foiling.

Lawrence is a skilled and versatile Deckhand with experience in both blue-water sailing and land-based technical roles. Originally from South Africa, he has a strong background in electrical engineering and has also gained hospitality experience as a bartender, developing excellent customer service and organizational skills. Lawrence currently serves as Deckhand on board G4ce, contributing to sailing operations, mooring and anchoring, tender driving, and water sports activities including sail dinghy handling, snorkelling, kitesurfing, skiing/wakeboarding, e-foil, and wing foiling. He is also responsible for the daily cleaning and general maintenance of the yacht, ensuring it remains in top condition at all times. With a proactive and friendly attitude, he ensures safe operations while creating a memorable and enjoyable experience for guests.
