With more than 25 years of culinary experience, Matthew brings a wealth of expertise from fine dining restaurants, gastropubs, and private chef positions. His cuisine is inspired by the Mediterranean, focusing on fresh, seasonal ingredients and clean, balanced flavours.
Having recently completed a private sailing passage from Croatia to Gibraltar as sole chef, Matthew has developed a strong understanding of yacht life, provisioning, and delivering exceptional meals in a dynamic onboard environment. Calm, organised, and highly adaptable, he combines creativity with meticulous planning to ensure every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.
Matthew holds STCW Basic Safety Training, ENG1, RYA Day Skipper, and Level 2 Food Hygiene qualifications, making him well-equipped for life at sea and an excellent addition to the GRAYA team.

Comfortable working across both interior and exterior departments, she has developed a strong foundation in guest service, housekeeping, deck operations, and yacht maintenance.
Known for her positive attitude, adaptability, and strong work ethic, Charlize thrives in busy yacht environments and enjoys creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Her experience ranges from managing the interior as a sole stewardess to supporting deck operations and guest activities, making her a valuable and versatile member of the GRAYA crew.

Having worked aboard both motor and sailing yachts up to 56 metres, he has gained valuable experience in deck operations, tender driving, mooring, anchoring, paintwork preparation, teak care, polishing, and general vessel upkeep.
Known for his attention to detail, positive attitude, and hands-on approach, Johannes is particularly interested in the technical side of yachting and is working towards a future career in yacht engineering. His strong work ethic, commitment to safety, and willingness to learn make him a valuable member of the GRAYA crew.
