Originally from Cape Town, Allen planned a gap year abroad after earning his degree at Stellenbosch, only to discover yachting was the perfect fit. Five years and three boats later, he’s climbed the ranks with energy and focus. Allen splits his time between London and Cape Town, and, for fun, is often found kitesurfing, trail running, or sneaking in a rock-climbing session. His twin brother is also in yachting— though not onboard yet, so no risk of confusing the two!
