Giacomo Ravagnan joins M/Y HAPPY ISLAND as Deckhand. Italian and born in 2001, he brings a motivated and practical approach to deck operations, supported by early experience both on motor yachts and in commercial maritime environments.
His background includes seasonal positions on private motor yachts, including work with Ferretti Group units, where he assisted with general deck duties, cleaning, maintenance and support during navigation and mooring operations. He has also gained experience aboard a fishing vessel, developing resilience, teamwork and familiarity with demanding working conditions at sea.
In addition to his maritime experience, Giacomo has worked in security roles, strengthening his sense of responsibility, situational awareness and ability to operate effectively in structured environments.
He is currently completing his STCW training and holds additional certifications including BLSD and safety related courses. He speaks Italian and has a basic level of English.
Enthusiastic and adaptable, Giacomo brings a positive attitude, good physical stamina and a willingness to develop further skills, contributing to the smooth running of deck operations on board.

Captain Filippo Cesari joins M/Y HAPPY ISLAND with over 30 years of maritime experience, combining command and engineering expertise developed across both commercial fishing vessels and motor yachts above 30 metres. Italian and born in 1973, he brings a practical, hands on approach to yacht management, with a strong focus on safety, reliability and smooth onboard operations.
Filippo has held long term command positions on a range of Ferretti and Azimut yachts, most recently as Captain of a Ferretti 920 operating between Ancona and Tivat, and previously aboard a Ferretti 731 and an Azimut 70. Across these roles, he has been responsible for navigation, crew coordination, technical oversight, and full operational management, including route planning, fuel control, maintenance supervision and port formalities.
With a background as both Captain and Chief Engineer, he offers solid technical knowledge of onboard mechanical and electrical systems, alongside strong decision making skills and the ability to manage unexpected situations at sea. His leadership style is structured and collaborative, aimed at maintaining a well organised and efficient crew environment.
Filippo holds a Yacht Master licence without limits (sail and motor), along with STCW certification, advanced firefighting, GMDSS radio licence and first aid training. He speaks Italian and basic English.
Reliable and experienced, he brings to HAPPY ISLAND a steady command presence and a strong commitment to safe and well managed cruising programmes.

Ilaria Cianci joins M/Y HAPPY ISLAND as Stewardess, bringing a strong background in yachting and high-end hospitality, supported by extensive experience in client relations and event management. Italian and born in 1979, she combines a polished service style with excellent organisational skills and a natural attention to detail.
Her yachting experience includes several seasons aboard Ferretti and Azimut yachts, including Ferretti 920, Ferretti 731 and Azimut 80, where she was responsible for full guest service, table setting, housekeeping and laundry, as well as assisting with provisioning and coordination with the galley. She is experienced in both informal and fine dining service, maintaining a high standard of presentation and guest care throughout the charter programme.
Ilaria also brings valuable operational experience from her previous role as Marina Manager, where she oversaw daily marina activities, coordinated staff and handled client services, further strengthening her organisational and problem solving skills. In parallel, she has managed her own business in the events and lifestyle sector, designing and delivering bespoke experiences with a strong focus on detail and guest satisfaction.
She holds a university degree in Business Languages and is completing her STCW certification. Italian is her mother tongue; she speaks English and French at an intermediate to advanced level.

Cristian Cleri joins M/Y HAPPY ISLAND as Chef, bringing over ten years of experience across restaurants, hotels, catering and hospitality environments. Italian and born in 1995, he combines a solid technical foundation with a practical and organised approach to kitchen management.
His background includes roles as Chef and Sous Chef in both independent restaurants and hotel kitchens, most recently in Zurich at a Gault & Millau recognised restaurant, where he was involved in menu development, preparation and execution across all sections of the kitchen. He has also held positions as Head Chef in Italy, managing kitchen operations, supplier selection, menu planning and food cost control, with a strong focus on seasonality and product quality.
Cristian’s experience extends to high pressure environments such as international catering for MotoGP teams, where he was responsible for delivering consistent and well organised service in dynamic, multicultural settings. This has strengthened his ability to plan efficiently, adapt quickly and maintain quality standards under demanding conditions.
His cuisine is rooted in Italian tradition with a contemporary touch, supported by good baking skills and a growing interest in wine pairing and product sourcing. Organised and reliable, he is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Cristian speaks Italian and English, with basic knowledge of French and German, and brings to HAPPY ISLAND a balanced, guest focused approach to onboard dining.
