Maria graduated from the Naval School of Aspropirgos in 2000. She has attended cooking courses in food styling and decoration, multiple massage therapy seminars and holds a diploma in hairdressing. Maria also holds a coastal skipper and a speed boat license. Her previous experience as a crew member for many years ensures a memorable hosting experience to all the guests.

Charalambos holds Chief Steward Diploma, and Certificates for Life Saving & Fire Fighting Appliances, and Professional Lifeguard. He has been on board luxury yachts since 1999 and is very experienced. Charalambos is dedicated hardworking and a wonderful asset to the highly professional crew of “Helios”.

Charalambos Meremetis
Chief steward/ess
Stavros is a graduate of the Merchant Marine Academy of Preveza with multiple certificates. He also holds a speed boat operator license as well as a sailing license. He commenced a career at sea in 2000 and served on board merchant vessels for many years as an Apprentice Officer and Chief Officer. In 2005 he decided to join the yachting industry and has since served at the helm of multiple motor yachts of the same owner. Stavros is a very determined and polite person, loyal, professional and he enjoys creating unique moments for the guests’ pleasure.

Captain
Argiris has extensive sea-going experience across motor vessels, tugboats, ferries, and private and commercial yachts up to 53m. He brings a refined blend of technical expertise and discretion, ensuring the seamless operation, maintenance, and optimization of main engines, auxiliary machinery, and all onboard hotel systems to the highest standards. Recognized for his meticulous attention to detail and proactive problem-solving approach, he effectively leads engine-room teams, coordinates complex technical works with shore-based specialists, and guarantees full compliance with international safety and environmental regulations. Holder of a Class A’ Engineer Certificate, he has served as a certified engineer since 2007 and has been dedicated to the luxury yachting sector since 2020, delivering reliability and excellence in every aspect of vessel performance.

Argyris Vassalos
Engineer
Konstantinos graduated in 2007 from IEK “Le Monde” where he attended courses for Technical of Culinary Arts. He also holds Certificates and Diplomas for: RO/RO Passenger and Basic Training for Life Saving and Fire Fighting. Konstantinos has attended seminars for “Food Professionals” and “Best of international d’Alain Ducasse” in Athens, and “Thai Cooking Lessons” in Thailand. As Chef, Konstantinos enjoys creative cuisine and can please the most demanding clients with French, Italian, Spanish, and Mediterranean Cuisine. He has worked as Chef for many restaurants such as: “L’Artigiano”, “Kyma”, “Best Friends”, “Cosica”, “Kouzina”, on board cruise ships, and on board motor yachts. Konstantinos was awarded 3rd place at the Chefs’ Competition at the “Mediterranean Yacht Show 2014” in Nafplion.

Konstantinos Balatsoukas
Chef
Alexandros served in the Greek Army on the Special Forces department (1993-1995) and from 1995 to 2009, he ran his own business on Sports Facilities and Activities. In 2010 he started working on Charter and private yachts as Bosun and in 2016 he acquired his RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore 200gt diploma. He is a hard worker and a great team player. Flexible and adaptable, able to assist with engine and navigation duties.
