Cameran comes from Cape Town, South Africa, which in his opinion is the most beautiful city in the country. Although English is his first language, he went to a predominantly Afrikaans High School making him fluent in Afrikaans. At school he played in the rugby and cricket teams.
Years later he had to make the choice between the navy or yachting and he chose yachting to travel the world and see exciting new places.
His hobbies include surfing, hiking, playing the guitar and exploring historical places and buildings. Cameran has recently taken up skateboarding in his spare time too.
