How did I get into yachting?
"I was introduced to yachting through a close friend who works offshore. Listening to his stories—crossing oceans, experiencing different cultures, meeting inspiring people, and building a meaningful career at sea—sparked something in me. The balance between structure and adventure immediately resonated, and over time that curiosity grew into a clear decision to pursue yachting as my own path."
How long have you been in the industry?
"I’ve been working in yachting for six years, following a year and a half as a ferry stewardess. That early role gave me a strong foundation in service, teamwork, and the realities of life at sea. It taught me resilience, adaptability, and professionalism, which made the transition into yachting both natural and rewarding."
What makes your current team special?
"We’re currently completing the boat under very tight deadlines, yet the sense of unity on board is exceptional. Everyone steps up for one another, communicates openly, and remains patient and supportive—even under pressure. That shared commitment, combined with genuine kindness and respect, is what truly makes this team stand out."

How do you get people to feel safe / keen to try out a new watersport?
"I focus on creating a calm, supportive atmosphere where people feel looked after rather than judged. I take time to clearly explain the safety setup and what to expect, break skills down into simple, achievable steps, and check in often so no one feels rushed. By celebrating small wins and offering steady, positive encouragement, I help people relax, build trust in both the equipment and themselves, and genuinely enjoy the learning process."
What is your most impressive watersports skill or trick you can do?
"One of my strongest skills is transferring from one wave to another on a wakeboard. When the waves are tall enough, I can confidently generate speed, read the water, and smoothly move across from one wave to the next while maintaining control and flow."

What do you particularly like doing on board within your role?
"What I particularly enjoy in my role is navigation and ship manoeuvring, especially during port operations. Each port presents different conditions—traffic, weather, berth layouts—which keeps the work engaging and pushes me to stay sharp and focused."

"On a normal charter day, my priority is supporting guests and ensuring their time on board is smooth and enjoyable. I coordinate with the crew, assist with daily activities, and stay available to meet guests’ needs so they can relax and enjoy their stay."

What does good service mean to you?
“Table service is handled by the interior team, and their role has a major influence on the quality of service delivered, yet excellent service comes from the combined effort of the entire crew.
