Originally from Catania, Italy, Alessandro is a highly experienced yacht Captain with over twenty years in the professional yachting industry. After completing his technical education, he developed a successful career at the helm of both sailing and motor yachts for private and commercial Owners, cruising extensively throughout the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.
Since 2004, Alessandro has served as Captain on a wide range of yachts up to 39 meters, gaining strong expertise in navigation, yacht operations, crew coordination, and guests management. His professional background includes also yacht deliveries and long-range cruising, always maintaining high standards of safety, organization, and discretion on board.
Throughout his career, he has also collaborated with shipyards and yacht manufacturers, expanding his technical knowledge in yacht construction, maintenance, and advanced propulsion systems. His ability to adapt to different operational environments and multicultural teams has made him a reliable and respected leader both on deck and in management roles. Professional, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure, he combines strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach and excellent organizational abilities.

Alessandro Magnanti

Luigi is an experienced deckhand and passionate seafarer with many years of amateur sailing experience, including competitive training in the Laser class. He has held the Italian unlimited sailing and motor yacht licence since 2019 and has gained strong navigation and technical experience at sea.
His expertise includes navigation planning, manoeuvring, anchoring and mooring operations, weather interpretation, route monitoring through GPS and onboard navigation systems, as well as general onboard safety procedures. Luigi is also knowledgeable in the maintenance of marine engines, onboard mechanical and electrical equipment, and navigation instruments including AIS, Raymarine, radar, and sonar systems.
In addition to his maritime background, Luigi is particularly well suited to the charter environment thanks to his experience in luxury hospitality and guest-oriented service. Professional, adaptable, and team-focused, he contributes to creating a smooth and welcoming atmosphere onboard.
