Federico is a motivated and dependable deckhand and skipper with a lifelong background in sailing, beginning with competitive dinghy racing and progressing into professional roles on private and charter yachts up to 28 metres. He is confident operating under sail and power, with experience in offshore passages, regattas, guest service, and day-to-day vessel operations.
Most recently, Federico worked as Skipper on a smaller motor yacht in Porto Rotondo, running high-end day charters and managing all aspects of navigation, guest care, mooring, and onboard operations. He has also served as deckhand and deck/stew on private yachts, supporting both exterior and interior duties including maintenance, tender driving, provisioning, and guest service.
His experience includes regatta preparation aboard a 28m sailing yacht for Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez, as well as roles with sailing programs where he assisted with refits, training, and coastal and offshore events. Comfortable in both team environments and short-handed operations, Federico is known for his calm attitude, practical mindset, and strong seamanship that he is bringing with him to the KALINDA Crew. In his free time Federico enjoys sailing, freediving and hiking.

Chef Sarah is a versatile and reliable sole chef with several years of experience on private sailing yachts between 30 and 40 metres. She specialises in fresh, varied cuisine and is confident catering for both guests and crew, with experience in Mediterranean, Mexican, South-East Asian, French, and modern international styles.
Most recently, Sarah served as Sole Chef on the 38m sailing yacht Anemoi, preparing daily meals for up to ten guests and eight crew in a fast-paced private program. She managed all aspects of the galley, from provisioning and menu planning to allergy management and hygiene standards, while also assisting on deck during manoeuvres and passages.
Previously, she worked as Chef/Stewardess on the 30m Lady 8, where she handled guest catering, service, and interior duties while communicating directly with the principal on menus, wine selections, and guest arrangements. Her earlier roles across several private and charter yachts have given her strong all-round experience in both galley and interior operations, as well as watches and deck support when required.
Sarah trained at Ashburton Culinary School and holds STCW, PDSD, and Level 2 Food Hygiene certifications. She is a native English speaker with professional working fluency in French, and is known for her positive attitude, adaptability, and high standards of hygiene and presentation, which makes her a great addition to the KALINDA Crew.

Charlie Bloch is a motivated and technically skilled yacht skipper and engineer with a strong sailing background and over 10 years of experience progressing through the RYA training and certification system. Beginning with dinghy sailing in childhood, he advanced to become an RYA Senior Instructor before moving into professional yacht operations across the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Atlantic. Charlie has worked as Skipper, Engineer, Mate and Instructor on a range of sailing and motor yachts including Oyster, Sunreef and Lagoon vessels, gaining extensive experience in navigation, charter management, engineering maintenance, yard periods, crew management and owner operations. He is highly capable in both sailing and technical roles, with hands-on expertise in engine servicing, electrical repairs, fiberglass work, rigging and maintenance management. In addition to yacht operations, he has also participated in offshore deliveries, regattas and race training programmes. Holding RYA Yachtmaster Ocean (Commercially Endorsed), MCA engineering and safety certifications, GMDSS GOC and multiple instructor qualifications, Charlie is a professional, adaptable and solutions-oriented maritime professional with strong leadership, training and operational skills.
